To the pros and experts
Hey guys i was wondering i recently got my new 89 maro. It ahs a new gm crate in it with about 300hp and about 370tq or close. well i was wondering what is the best way to win races off the line. I have a auto and i downshift to one and up till overdrive. I got 3.73 posi i just sitthere and spn off the line and im just wondering what a good way to get off the line with one is? thanks guys

Why are you shifting into OD?
Learn to feather the throttle, finding the point on the throttle right before you lose traction and go from there.

Traction. If it just spins off the line, get a set of slicks. 500hp won't even run 12's if it just sits and spins the tires. You need to get the power to the ground first before you can go fast or consistant.
