post your 1/4 miles times here. stock/moded
I just want to see what kind of times people are running stock, bolt ons, built motor, etc. Post your year, model and mods.
Heres mine
1986 camaro berlinetta
355 CID, ZZ4 cam, steel crank, ported and polished stock 350 heads, bigger valves, 1.6 RR's, flat top pistons, Holley 750, edelbrock intake, edelbrock headers and y-pipe, gutted cat, edelbrock cat-back
Shift kit, 3500 stall
Spohn LCA's and relocation brackets, MT ET Streets
13.4 1/4 Mile 1.9 60ft 100MPH
this is with no tuneing and old spark plug wires, I am kind of upset with the time

15.2@90 2.1 60'....350 with stock lg4 manifolds and exhaust....everythings basically stock, flamethrower coil, accel 8.8 wires and thats it, from one of my timeslips when i raced a 13 sec car, all of our numbers were almost identical until half track then my car just chokes cuz of the tiny, crappy lg4 exhaust..i have no top end..

not trying to make excuses, but i had a friend in the car (extra 130 pounds).
also my engine temp was in the 230 drivers fan barely keeping in where probably one, outside temp was about 85.
and i let way too much air out of my tires.
i have beaten a few quicker who run a tad quicker.

I'm building a new motor for my 91 RS right now. once i get done with the motor, put a shift kit in, and change rear gears, i should be running 14's. Oh yea, this is a 3.1L V6!! I haven't run mine in the 1/4 mile yet but i'll post actual times when i do. Laugh at the V6 if you want but it won't be any joke.

My 88 formula
14.660 @ 93.5 2.09 60er.
It's basically stock with a flowmaster catback, and a K&N.
305 tpi 5spd, with the g92 stuff
The 86 Z... it's modded, but the track has to thaw a ibt to get the first run in

Just rebuilt motor and only made 5 passes so far, the best is in sig. Running a Comp Cam solid flat tappet, .534 lift intake and exhaust, 110 lobe sep., the rest is in sig. I did most of the rebuild myself and I'm pretty satisfied so far since the times are all motor. Best 60ft was 1.585 so far.

Can I suggest we adopt/steal an idea from the Lightning forum? See Gen 1 1/4-mile times and Gen 2 1/4-mile times. (kinda slow to load so be patient)
Basically have a thread with the first post being the listing of everyone's 1/4-mile times with a "code" for their mods -- just break it down by type of mod but not get specific with the brand. People can make post to the threads, and a moderator or designated lemming can edit the main post with the new times. It makes it easy search people's times at a quick glance instead of wading through a slew of posts.
I'm a moderator on the SE-R forum and did the same thing over there for N/A and turbo cars. The threads are kept as stickies in the racing section.
An example over here might be:
slow305 - 2.114 60', 14.483@95.66 (1990 Formula LB9, white) DFU
With "DFU" designating aluminum driveshaft (D), air filter (F), and underdrive pullies (U).
I'm not as familiar with 3rd gen mods, so I wouldn't know where to start in making a more complete list of letter designations. Are there enough blown cars to warrant a seperate thread?

Adding over the winter a 3.70" (12lbs) pulley, LCA Relocation brackets, KYB Shocks and Struts, and a Nitto's. Gotta get the jump on my brothers 92 Syclone.....lil creep was taking advantage of my no traction on the street and his all wheel drive.

Wasn't too impressed but wasn't too surprised either, first time at track, only got two runs. I'm heading back this weekend to try for more.

fast fiero
i have an 84 pontiac fiero that runs a 1/4 in 8.68 and i am not sure how fast i am going at that point because knoxville dragway doesn't have a radar gun. i bought a v8 conversion kit and was able to fit a 455 cid. engine out of a 79 trans am. it is not supercharged yet but when i get some money it will be. i do have nitrous i am using 175 jets and have two four barrel carbs both 800 cfm. i will take any other car built for under 3,500 dollars.
