AutoX
Last year some of my import friends got into autoX and now I want to get in on it. I just aquired some 16x8 crosslace GTA rims that I want to put tires on just for AutoX. I want to put on 245/45/R16 BridgeStone Potenza S03's.
And my question is, will this size tire rub my front wheel wells?
Right now i have 235/60/R15 on my car and they rub in front when I turn the wheel too far.
Thanks...

The stock size for the 16x8 wheels are 245/50 R16 and you said that you want to mount 245/45 16's. The 245/45's are smaller and shorter than the 245/50's so you will have no problems with rubbing.
Also, you will have a deeper effective rear end gear with smaller diameter tires. This will help especially if you have a high rear end gear (my old IROC had the 2.77).
I ran these same sizes on my old 88 IROC and now on my 98 Z28.
Happy hunting.

If you are going to use these wheels just for autox, go with the Hoosier or Kumho autox tires. They wil stick much better but are not to be driven on the streets on a daily basis. Kumho are a little bit cheaper, and will last longer, Hoosiers are lighter, stick better, but wear quicker. There are two compounds in the Hoosier, "A" compound is Autox, the "R"compound is Road Race. Both are good for Autocrossing.
Ive run both A and R compound and think the "R" last a little longer. and I have run 245's and 255's. Better results with the 245's.

I don't know why you would have a rub problem with these tires. For AutoX tires I'm running 265/40/16 Kumho VictorRacers on factory Formula wheels.

I autocrossed with my grandpa/uncle's Corvette club and it was lots of fun, you'll love it!
