Don't always blame the car. My car hooks and runs good during the summer. At the end of the year when the track starts to get cold I have no traction at all until some heat is built up in the track. Sometimes it feels like I'm about to do a lane change.

my car feels like its on snow at the top of the track....but it doesnt start doing it until the pressure gets around 10-12 psi....which is where it gets the best traction its kinda scary until you get used to it hehe

383,
You're not running enough tire pressure. Go back up in pressure, also check your tire pres gauge against others to see if it's accurate. You should be using a good one like the one Moroso makes. Be sure you're checking yours against a known accurate one, not a pencil type gauge. Try a harder burnout with the higher pressure and stage with a bit less rpm's too.

thanks for the replys . with my street tires on it feels good , just not use to the feel of slicks any more. . i had 16 psi in them and it is a good and accurate gauge. havn't run on tires like that in 18 years. ( oh no,.... might be showing my age)
