Bird Launch pic-sorry about quality
Buddy just got his pics developed from disposable fuji camera, the real pic is okay, not digital quality by a long shot, so this pic is kinda not showin the full effect. In the real pic it's about as close to lifting the front tire as you can get without actually doing so-car transfers weight like a pro and to think it's all factory with 120K on it-come to think of it, that's probably why, cause it's all worn out. Anyway I was pretty impressed, once I put the rear sway back on it'll never look like this again, but what the heck, it's just a small motor anyways.

I just wish the damn picture was'nt so frickin dark online, I scanned it with our 16.7million whatever scanner and it still turned out crudy. The original is much clearer-just a little blurrier-but from the way it looks you could almost slide a card under the tire-almost up there. Like I said not too bad for a low compression under geared beater, best in action pic I have of it so far, just wished for better clarity. Maybe next season after a couple mods I want to do, I can pull one-2 would be sweet, but higly unlikely, I'll save all THAT extra money for my "real" drag car.
This pic below is from my 700r4 and 2800 stall-still not too bad I guess.

Alright here's an "enhanced" version-let's see what this ones like

I would work on getting seperation between the rear tires and the fenderwell. Having the back of the car "squat" like that is wasting a lot of energy that could be going to the ground. But make sure the car launches straight and each side has the same seperation, don't want the car twisting. Not good for the car and also a waste of energy.

Like I said, I did'nt put the rear sway bar back on, just one of those things, and I could benefit from the air bag in pass spring. For next season those 2 will be done and then I'm gonna run a TT and see if taking the front sway off is worth anything.

I took the front swaybar off of mine. It doens't affect handling to the point where you can't drive it on the street. Mine's been off for a long time now. My buddies say and the videotape shows a lot of rise in the front end with it off.

I don't need anymore rise-wait-yes I do, I want to pull the tire with a baby motor. Anyways, once the winter times mods are done I'll address the rear suspension, after reading and hearing about cars having just as good or better short times w/ less motor or stall it makes me jealous. Still looks pretty cool though. Actually I could care less about anything right now except making it look prettty, the drivetrain and driver are already proven consistent winners, I'd just rather look better doing it. Then after it's pretty I'll work on getting down fast enough to run Super Pro so I can have a shot at the real money, $200 for a win just don't cut it, call me greedy. I'll pay the $150 entry for a shot at the $1000 payback, and just as many rounds. Did I ever mention I love putting the big guys out! They can't touch the blue bumper bandit. It was so disgustingly ugly I think it scared them in the gambler's hence their slow .525 R/T's.
