how should i launch??

how should i launch??

hey guys im goin to the track on tuesday for the first time with my engine and am curious to wut i should launch at and how, now with the setup in my sig i shudl be around 350 horse and i have a five speed with a 3.27 posi rear and futura z-rated 255 tires, now should i go to liek 3 grand or sumtin and drop the clutch? should i take it p and let the clutch out slowly and floor it? any input would be greatly appriciated. thanks

you deffinatly dont want to drop the clutch that will cause wheelspin. i would launch probably around 3k and in a fast way let the clutch out slowly, if that makes since to you. honestly you should go find an abandoned road before then and pracitse and find what is the best, of coarse at the track you will be able to launch at higher rpm because of the vht. just my opinion though.

i would let the clutch out slowly..
you dont want tire spin.. you want max power on the ground without spin..
