Help with racing
Does anyone know where to find some good drag racing tips or tricks? My GF is going to drag race my car Friday at Muncie Drag Way and I was looking to help her out.
Also anyone know where to find that online game where the tree drops and you click? Kinda to practice your R/T!

a few pointers for New Stock Auto dragers
Before you get started if you have a t-toped car or a converable You MUST HAVE a Helmet something that says Snell 95 or higher
1) If you are runing street tires do not let air out of them. It will not do you any good.
2) again if you are running street tires DO NOT go through the water box. Back up if you have to but not into it. You dont need it & this keeps the other drivers behind you from yelling at you. lol
3) You dont need to do a big burn out just burp your tires to clean them off.
4) while staging watch the Staging lights when the top one turns Yellow roll just until the 2nd one turns yellow then set your car up.
5) watch the 3rd Yellow light down the tree go when that turns yellow this will help your reaction times.
6) If you dont know how to Shift your car ( I am talking auto trannys here) let your car shift it self.
7) when you get to the end of the run do not let your foot off the gas until you know you are past the finish line. Normally they have the win lights down there at the end of the track. if not ask someone or walk the side of the track to find out where the finish line is that way you know what point you have to be at before letting your gas down to stop.
8) The most important rule of all HAVE FUN doing this.

I dont know...
We are in the process of building her a 10 or 11 sec. Camaro. She needs to learn in a 14sec car fist I believe. That and she has been wanting to do it for a while.
Is there any web pages for this stuff or what about a place to practice a reaction time? I know there was a web site out there....

Its an ok one. But they do have small hand held Practice trees Via Summit racing for about $80 then you can get the break release for about $16 from them too.

On the left is a series of links like "A day at the drags", "The basics of drag racing", "Handicap Racing", etc.
Might as well go to the source...
