Disappointed. Slip and questions inside.
Recently put headers on my car, did away with the cats, 2 1/4 dual exhaust came off in place for a 3" system with a flowmaster, and I gutted my airbox.
Old time is in sig.
*edit* Old time was 9.06 @ 76.xx and a 2.0x 60'
New times last night, this is the best run.
RT: .538 (at least I did good at something, .500s all night )
60': 1.990 (best ever, mostly 2.0x all night) street tires
330: 5.822
1/8: 8.997 (I broke into the 8s finally...)
MPH: 76.97 (hit 77.03 on a 9.001 run)
Now, gaining .07 from nearly $1000 worth of work on the car just sounds like pure to me. Someone mentioned that my timing could be off, and I know I need a tune up. But still... WTF?

Sometimes it takes a couple times to get use to the new system I know my husband had the same problems until he changed his Fuel injectiors with larger ones

Arlight, talking to some mechanics and others the last two days gave me a new idea.
I found out what the slight hesitation in my car was. Intake manifold leak. No biggy, getting a new one in a couple weeks.
This guy said that I probably lost a lot of back pressure with this new exhaust system. Got rid of the cats and added headers. I can understand this. Great...now what.

Sorry, sig info went away.
Everything is stock except for headers and exhaust. Car has underdrive pullies (well, just one now) and a hypertech 160 thermostat/chip.
