2 more movies from the track last night..
Englishtown was mobbed last night, they actually sold out of tech cards!! I got 2 runs in for 5 hours of waiting, my 1st run was the best of the night and I 60ft in 1.80 and ran 13.709 but got slapped by a 12 Sec Stang. Next run I botched maxing out my RPMs at the tree, recovered but had a horrible reaction time but still managed to get a 2.02 60ft and ran 13.782 at 95.x MPH and drive around a Jetta that ran 14.9 (times get blurred out on that run). 2 weeks earlier I ran at Atco on street tires and my MPH was alot better 98.x-99.7 MPH (I wasnt using drag radials) and I ran a new best of 13.758 on street tires that I didnt get on tape but heres a clip from that day, and you can see the difference in MPH. Will drag radials and lower psi cause me to lose 4-5 MPH from one track to the next?? I guess next up Ill race on street tires at Englishtown to found out if thats part of the problem or not. Here's the videos....
13.9 at Atco.
13.78 Run at Etown
13.70 Run at Etown.
13.9 at Atco.
13.78 Run at Etown
13.70 Run at Etown.

Hey,
It's probobly not your car. When you go from track to track, it is hard to compare the trap speeds, cause they are all going to be different. There are two ways that tracks measure it, and some do it one way, and some the other.
I ran 101 at one track and started going to another and ran 98. Then back at the other one and still 101. So with my 105 with the '88, it would've been 108 had I gone to the old track, and my '92 would've run 97.5 instead of 94.5.
When you hook better, sometimes your trap speed will come down, but only 1 mph or so. My DRs never lowered my trap speed, same on street tires or DRs, course they didn't help my ETs much either!
good luck.
