should i run?
hey i have a 87 Z28 with the 305tpi auto.... i have done only basic stuff whats in my sig.... +the hooker cat back... anyway i have a 130000mi but 90 on the motor....should i run my car? i have raced on the street and thats the only abuse the car ever got.... the car has drivin well... not beat up but not pampered... people think that the car will break apart....i need some help u guys.... plus what do u think i would run...i know its not gunna be like 13's i was looking for 15.2-15.6 i would be happy....i just wana know where i am with this now....thanks...

That sounds like a fair estimate, I never understood why people think taking your car to the track will break it, it's the same as when you street race or get on it from a light.

Mark u are the man i dunno y... u just are....i have listened to every word that u have spoken to me.... both of ur cars are sweet... i wana get he same shot of my 2 cars...just ones not a vette....its the "BuLl" i feel better thanks aight peace

i woudl say you should look to be closer to the low end of your estimate. you can easily get a 305 tpi to run a low 15. if you advance the base timing a little and hook you may be able to drop some high 14's.

you have a little over 200 hp with your mods, and 2:73's, im sorry but i dont think youll reach 14's. i would say mid to high 15'smaybe even low 16's, but you never know, good luck and have fun, it shouldnt hurt it to run it down thee track, youll be fine
