Do they seem close to what I should be at? The mods and times are in my sig. I got 6 runs in for the night. Each time I increased my fuel pressure a little and my E.T. and mph kept getting better. My final setting was 52 psi. It probably would have taken more but I had to get it dialed in for the actual races. Next time I'm taking some tools so I can adjust timing. The other major thing I did this time was run with no air filters. (I put them back in every time I got done with a run, so shouldn't have hurt it any)

Oh, and for those that read my story about the drag racing ticket, it's only $110 and, a little worse, a whopping 4 points! Not as bad as I thought on the cash but the points suck. Not enough to warrant getting an attourney so I'm going to try fighting it myself. Worth a try and it's free.

Thanks for any criticism, suggestions or praise on the 1/4 mile times. The only thing I think is really exceptional is my 60ft times. There were guys with 10" wide slicks getting close to the same times.

That isnt a bad ET at all for no more than you have done.

Id say work on the timing and get it bumped up. Sounds like you killed the peanut cam problem. I had that cam at one time in my car too.

I can tell you one mod that will get you a LOT closer to the 13's right now is a good torque converter. A vigilante is probably one of the best you can install at this point and they are expensive but they give you the best SOTP feeling. Ed Maher (TPI board moderator) just installed my old one in his 305 and dropped .2 and 2mph on his first trip to the track. Im sure he will drop more too. ANd a 1.8 60' on street tires and all stock suspension.

Yeah, a converter is definitely the next mod. There was another guy there with a MAF 305 running 13.7's. He had the ZZ4 cam and the Vortec heads, MAC headers and exhaust, 22lb injectors, not sure on converter. I was impressed! He even had the stock runners, port matched, obviously. It was my inspiration at the track that night Eventually.

I think you're motor has a lot of potential for power..

For a short while of last season I was doubting myself on my own TPI buildup, but the torque is pretty impressive.

I burned my clutch (new clutch - 4 passes on street tires) with my first run with slicks of the season saturday.

Clutch let go somewhere around redline, I ended up shutting down before the traps, and still got a 13.00 @ 110mph.. Thats a lot of torque..

Keep at it, sounds like you're headed in the right direction..
