I'd go with a Comp Cams 268XE with new heads. And the new Edelbrock EPS manifold, that's what I'm going with, with all of that you'll be mid 13s with the right heads.
Also, the Edelbrock 600 cfm should suit your needs.
Headers, SLP would be the best, but are pricey.

I think your 305 (L69) is one that will be capable of pulling a high 13/low 14 after the mods you are talking about doing.
Put as large of a cam as you can stand, World Torquer 305 heads, headers, Edelbrock intake and 600cfm carb and you should be there.
If you get eveything in and you arent where you want to be, get more gear (I think the stock L69/5speed gear is pretty good though).

You can buy the worlds from Jegs. They cost $310 each, so $620 for the set.

They come fully assembled ready to bolt on. But do yourself a favor and have them ported out a little before you put them on. They are the most expensive thing listed...but also the MOST IMPORTANT. If you want to go fast you need a good set of heads.

Heads are where hp is made. What about GM's Vortec heads?I've seen several supposed 305 camaros w/ them running mid 13's with them. With a little port work they really build some power, and you can get them for around $430 complete, and thats new from GM.
