Just letting you know I am planning a caravan for you guys, seeing as how I forgot I won't BE in jersey in June (-smacks self-) This one will be originating in or near Rochester NY, and we'll probably pick up more cars all the way through NY. =) Hope someone out there is a New Yorker and is going besides me.

have you planed a route yet? I personal like going down 81 in syseracuse less towns than going 390 to route 15 or is it 17.Usally it takes me about 4-6 hours to get to baltamore with one stop for gas half way through PA that's getting about 20 mpg but the last time i went down 81 (in oct.)it was a little rough.I hit one pothole and my right muffler came off so i had to drive to NC with one open headder that was loud but no cops bothered me so i guess i got lucky there.:doh .O'well I'm still no sure if i'm going or not but keep us informed.

I'm 29. You would have probably seen me at the Bellmore train station car night in the summer. I'm usually with a friend of mine who has a slammed and supercharged 99 Blazer. The camaro is not my everyday driver so it's not out that much during the winter. It's silver with the aerowing on the rear window if that helps any. I also used to go to the Freeport docks, usually in my red Nissan 240sx but stopped doing that awhile ago b/c it got kind of sketchy over there.

What does everyone think about headed to syracuse down I-90, then head south?.. The 90 goes right through the middle of NY, and we could all meet around syracuse, then when we go south meet up w/the Jersey People headed down 81south, to 380 south, to 80 east, which would put us smack in the middle of NJ to meet all those people. Whatcha think?

sorry i haven't replied sooner but i'm been house sitting.I think you might be start getting carried away with this caravan idea metting up with all these different groups i don't think it's a bad idea but i just put in the info map quest and it sayed it's about a 8 1/2 hour drive for me but that going a drifferent way.but the times are close ether way plus don't forrget to add an hour or so for you buffalo people.Now you want to meet up with nj peolpe which probally add a couple hours of driving.I just got done reading there post (NJ people) and they plan on makeing 3 stops in there state to meet up with others, althought nothing is written in stone this will probally add another hour or so.I'm not saying I wont do the carrvan thing but i don't want turn a 9 hour trip in to a 16 hour cross country trip just my 0.02 cents

I can understand the running late, but if we stop at a rest stop on the way, how much will that delay us?..5 min per rest stop?..i dont plan on getting out and having a chit chat..i planned on stopping, make sure everyone was there, and going.

kcobain you better talk to the ohio people they think your going to meet them in harrisburg (where 81 turns in to 83) and if you plan on going in to NJ that wouldn't be a good spot to meet them. although if i go this is where i would like to meet as I posted eariler in there post

yes it's on the way you planned but its way out of the way for the quickest way down or even the second quickest i'm still thinking it will be 3+ hours of extra driving than going 81 to 83
