Re: welding a sump?

I do the sumps for $65, if you want the send, return, vent or evap lines on the sending unit cut and welded shut I do that as well for $90 total. That includes drilling 5 holes in the tank itself to create a baffle of sorts to stop fuel from sloshing out of the sump during turns, and then flushing the tank with water and air after to clean out any debris. It's a good idea to check out your filter after a few tanks of gas too, since something might be floating around in the tank regardless. It'll take me 2 hours to do the sump at least, then another hour in those lines, assuming your sending unit is in good and rust free condition so they can be welded shut. I'll also put two plugs in there and pressurize the tank and check for leaks also.

No pics, but a sump looks like any sumped tank, google will have hundreds of pictures on that.
