Anyone interested in a little gathering of F-bodies in Elmhurst IL? Cool Cars under the Stars is Elmhurst's Wednesday night cruise night for the summer. The entire block is usually filled on both sides of the street.


August 11th is Pony Car Night, but maybe we can turn it into F-body night?
There is also a Buffalo Wild Wings right there on the block so we can grab some grub after we look at some cars.

well i started it the other day, just finishing up other peoples cars for them instead of my own is getting really old. I have a sbc mustang to finish up ASAP in the next week or so then another member on here wants a nitrous kit on....THEN i can touch mine again. I probably won't take on another large side job like this mustang until the late fall, I'm really getting burnt out on working then coming home and working in the garage all night and repeating for months on end.

This is tomorrow. I'll be there as long as it isn't rainy. A little gloom doesn't bother me.

If anyone does come, just look for the white de-badged GTA (I'm lazy, need to buy new ones) with white salad shooters. Only thirdgen I've ever seen rolling on white salad shooters.

was at the show had a great time. did not see anyone from the thirdgen board but did run into an old friend. it was awsome. also go to meet some other third gen owners.

yes i did and after the show i saw him driving to a local burger joint. He say he drives it 2 a week all over the place.

I still have the Road America rental this October, LSx Fest in BG Kentucky, another drag strip club rental, and a few more track days in me.

I may be going to Byron in a sunday or two to test out the new GTP. Who wants to take me on in my GTP. I will probably run a 17 at 95 or something cause I won't be able to launch a manual for crap.

But, its a true rental. The drag strip king ran something like 30+ passes last time. He hot-lapped the hell out of that car. A El Camino w/LS1.

I ran 11 times, but not for lack of time to do so. I ran about 6 hot-laps, let it rest for 3 hours, and did it again. I could have run again and again.
