I guess I'll introduce myself here?
Well I'm soon to be a proud new owner of an 89 Camaro 305 TPI. White no t tops 4 speed manual (no trans so im dropping in a T5 instead) SS hood and high rise spoiler. Or so I'm told. It's free just gotta go to South Carolina to get it hehe. He stole the manual trans out of it but he's throwing an auto from his bird in it to get it up here. He's also throwing in some custom died 4th gen seats since he replaced his with Recaro's. (he's also got a 3.4 twin turbo GNX motor)
My names Nic and I'm 21
Mod plans:
Paint
Megasquirt II SEM with tucked harness and all oem emmissions removed except idle air control and anything that helps it run well (can't be that much)
Eaton M90 supercharger ported by Magnum powers (already got it)
A decent cam
Appropriate fueling mods
Hopefully do some head work
Hopefully meth injection
I'm looking to keep this as cheap as possible. The Megasquirt is only 253 bux and will do everything I could ever ask so thats going a long way to getting me there cheap. I'm also not looking to break any records here. The M90 is not the ideal supercharger for the job haha. It should be good with the stock engine though. I'll honestly be happy with 300whp.
I'm excited to start the project I've never done any tuning but I am ready to learn and the Megasquirt should make it easy.
Sorry don't have any pix of the Camaro yet but I'll post a couple of my daily 1999.5 Audi A4 2.8l quattro 5 speed 190hp 210 ft lbs and a whopping 15.5 1/4 mile! lol
All taken by me using my Canon Rebel XS EOS Digital

Ya I know its not that much of a supercharger. But its ported so that will help. I'm doing it because I can and its a learning experience and it will be dirt cheap. On the other hand I've seen them near the 300hp mark in 5.0 mustangs.

not worth the hassle IMO at all for that tiny supercharger, it will choke the motor more than anything.

Thing is I can get the supporting done for this supercharger and then modify to fit a larger one later down the road. I'd rather learn to tune on a mild supercharger that wont easily fry my engine you know? It's all about learning for me. Maybe this will show me that I'd like to do something like this for a living. Idk.. I'm still trying to figure that out....
