Free transportation and shipping
My offer probably should have been placed here because I live in the Chicagoland area but I drive OTR. I'm on the road started next week.

Re: Free transportation and shipping
Last week I was in Salinas, CA and used route 80 both ways. It kinda sucks that for insurance reasons, the truck is speed limited to 67 mph because the speed limit on route 80 is 75 mph. I think I'm going back out to CA this week. I wish more people would give back but it seems that they are too greedy and only care about themselves. Hopefully my idea will be the first step to a change.

Re: Free transportation and shipping
Truck isn't equipted with any monitoring software, and speed is controlled by the computer, not a big deal, but it is there because the insurance company is a dingleberry. I go to Miami in April through July when California starts to get cheap on the loads. I like going south so I can avoid the Joplin weigh station when I come back. I'm taking a week off and then I'll get my lazy butt back on the road.
