Re: where's the closest maaco to bloomington, IL?

if you're cheap i'd love to. i'm not looking for anything special. i have some paint flaking off the roof but it hasn't rusted at all. i'm just looking for a fix to it and some shine again. my car has zero rust on it and i'd hate to see it start now.

personally i'd love to paint it hemi orange and put the general lee decals on it. (ok everyone, here's your cue to laugh your asses off) my problem is right now i'm so broke i can't even pay attention.

Re: where's the closest maaco to bloomington, IL?

While I don't dig the idea, just a tip. First, if you want your car to be the same color as the General Lee on the show, the color you want is 1975 Corvette Flame red code 70. It is also commonly listed as "Orange Flame". Anyhow, don't skimp on orange as it is a rather difficult color to paint and have look decent. I have seen numerous GL clones done by the cheap guys that are splotchy. It requires extra attention and a bit more paint to get a nice, even color.
