Aurora area junk yard
U-Pull-It in Aurora Has a couple of firebirds in the yard, There is one 1988 trans am, And a believe a 1984 firebird.
The 1988 has complete digital dash in very nice shape, T-tops, ground effects alot of body parts, the only thing i really saw wrong was the passenger side door was swiped, but the ground effects looked ok.
Still has the Complete L98 tpi motor and trans. the tail lights looked really good to (There the little squares), i Asked about them he said $22 apiece and he would take $250 for complete motor, Computer was there, Intereior was ok
I pulled the dash pad out in mint condition for $15 bucks,I could not believe it.
I also pulled out of the 1984 was a non a/c heated box, with everything on it, plus harness for $10 bucks. Was a good day there, I f I had the money I would have bought alot more, But I was so happy about the dash pad, I didnt care about anything else. lol
Anyway, Just passing on the info for anyone in the area, Looking for a digital dash or other parts, go check it out, looked like this car just showed up as everything was still there.
I usually check the junk yards in my area about once a month. And this car was not here 2 weeks ago.
Good luck, and get there quick, Im thinking about going back tommorow.

I was thinking about it, But I was wanting to take the a/c out of my car.
But if I change my mind,I will let you know first.
These things are not easy to find, I have even been to arkansas junk yards, where i saw like 20 3rd gens in a row, and not one of them have non a/c.

Axle/Gears: 12bolt
did you just grab the outter box, harness, and controls? or did you get the interior vents and inner box.

How big of a pain is it to take that digital dash out, would it be worth to sell ?
