Engine's ready... now what?

I am trying to decide whether I should deal with trans issues first or rear issues first.

They both are supposedly weak and will break quickly, but which one would go first?

Also, anybody with a truck willing to help me go from van senus to Gary, In with my engine?

you cant say what one would go first it could be any, i would just save and buy both and complete the drivetrain so you dont have to worry about it any more, but thats only my opinion

I wish I could say that I was patient enough to wait until both are on the car, but I haven't driven the car in years, and I would at leat like to take the car to the dyno to get the engine broken in and tuned.

Since I don't plan on racing it anywhere just going down the street/highway, how big of an issue is it?

do the trans first. if your not jumping on it from a stop with slicks the rear will survive.

Don't the ladder bars connect in the same place as the lca's?<-- wrong message!!!

So far I am figuring on usng McLeod's modular bellhousing. All the stuff I need between the transmission and the engine block totals about $900 plus tax and shipping... That sound right?
