They are also going to run at least on NMCA event this year and I think some kind of Furd event for slow Mustangs.

Also, are you sure about 30 opening? Last I read the guy interested still had to go before the Hobart board with a plan and nothing was in stone yet?

I am all for it as I raced there before and live about 10 minutes away from it

Well when Norm kicked the bucket his son did take over.

Least Norm cared about the little guys who raced, his son doesnt give a damn, even for things we were told last year about our next rental :-(

As far as I know, thats where 30 Dragstrip stands right now.

Nothing concrete that I or anyone knows.

Only way I see it ever happening is if someone has the money to put where their mouth is on it. I'd be all over it, its only like 10-15 min away for me lol

Hold up.

The original track developers are still having talks :-)

Was in the Times yesterday the 1st.(march 06)

The new owners arent 100% sure of what will happen and the have been in contact with the track developers and even talked of selling/long term lease.

I would like a track 10 min from my house lol

How it works out we wont know for awhile but I'm wanting it to happen.

i'd like a closer track to my house too, but it'll be years before it's even built and operational.

About all they would have to do a 30, would be to relay the asphlalt and some kind of tower lol

When u drive by, u can still tell where the track was/is.

Its all flat out there too

I pray every nite for it to open.

Nope, it's definetly still there, and visible
Everytime I gotta to highway 30 I drive down good old Clay street and look at it. Brings back some fun memories.
