91 Camaro worth $3000??
The car is white and on the corner of Torrence and Ridge. Its a stick with a TBI. Looks like it might have been in an accident on the driver side front and that door isn't pretty. Scrapes and painted over rusty corners.
Looking for opinions...

if it's got damage then i would say no it's not worth that much. I sold a 90 RS TBI 700R4 that was rusty but no damage to the car for $1000 with 100k on it. The t-tops leaked, etc. I think you could find a much nicer value unless they're looking to drop the price a lot.

Car: 92 Camaro RS, 72 Camaro SS
Engine: 305TBI, til it pukes
Transmission: Auto
Not with that kind of damage.
I bought my 92 last May for 1800. rust free, nice non-ripped interior, just needs paint real bad. typical nicks & dings.
Theres another one at a dealer north of town that's perfect and they're asking 3895. Been sitting there for 3 months now.
Keep looking, there out there!

i got mine for $800 buck, very minimal damage, paint is in great condition for the most part, interior needed a headliner, and all the brake components including the master cylinder were replaced, with a TPI and painless wiring harness........i sold and or traded the stuff i didnt need away and almost made my money back, now that was a deal i obviously didnt pass up but yeah there are really nice, really cheap cars out there

I got into an accident in my 04 Nissan. TOTALED. In a 4dr cobalt rental till Friday.
I just found a '95 6spd Z28 asking $6500. Also have a '79 Malibu available for $3500.
I am pretty flexible on the car, just partial to 3rd gens. I'd do a G-body if one came up or some unmentionable 4 bangers.
If I can go cheap I can get my T56, 9" and Driveshaft!
Otherwise I am getting some lame basic car that will get decent gas mileage and reliable (unmentionable 6 shooters from overseas).
There's a guy in Flossmoor with one that sounds pretty sweet, but it is going to be a balancing act to check it out and make the deal happen in timely fashion.
Denny has one that just sounds incredible, but it is over my limit.
I love checking out cars, but timeframes are for the birds.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!! the car you are talking about is on the corner of torrence and thornton-lansing road, ridge is the next light south on torrence. i know, because i live on thornton lansing road two blocks down from that used car dealership(M&M auto i believe) They sell some pretty crappy cars. Ive taken a look at some of the stuff theyve had over the years and its been pretty scary.
Just thought id let you know

3000 for a thirdgen, you can find a very very good shape one for that. I payed 500.00 for my 89 formula 350 only needed a fender that's it int. perfect. super glossy black paint.
now I knew this guy but for the same car and a unknown person 1200.00 would be the max I would spend.
do your self a favor and go through the cars for sale and visit e-bay and see if you can check out some local thirdgens befor bidding there have been some later year thirdgen cars selling cheap lately (some too high but, that's e-bay)

Desparation leads to stupidity!!!
The darn thing is falling apart, and threatening to need a rebuild!
So now I have to hurry up and come up with more cash and trade this F*&%er in!
I wish the car was worth saving cuz i is nice, but (*&%(&^%*&%*&%*^% it's gotta go.
