ok i was talking to some people about this at the x-mas dinner some say it would be cool anyways its a 3day event there is a burn out contest a mud pit for the 4x4's food (not free but non the less food) drag boats on the river ATV and Bike stunts fireworks and tons of other stuff. last year there was about 500 cars there and 100 trucks for the off roading pit i'd like to see if any of you would like to come with next year there is a prize for the biggest car club to be enter in the car show and i think it would be cool to have us in there. the car show is put on TV in the joliet plainefeild new lenox area and i could get a copy for us if need be they also have a cruise for the car show with cops blocking traffic for us we can do burn outs in the street and all the good stuff. every year the car show get bigger so it would be a big blaste to have a bunch of us there. if any of you would like to go let me know and i will set everythign up there are close to 40 different things you can enter your car as from street rod to stock restore from race car to most rare (i think that firehawk would win that one) there is a cash prize to the winner of the burn out contest again i'm starting to plane this far ahead so we are not all waitting till the last min for the details

From I-355:
I-355 south to I-55 west. Exit I-55 at Joliet Road (Rt. 53) which is the first exit. Follow Rt. 53 through Romeoville and Crest Hill to Joliet. As you come into Joliet, Rt.53 becomes Broadway. At the Broadway and Ruby Street stoplight, turn right onto Ruby and then left onto Center Street. Take Center to Jefferson Street. At Jefferson, turn left. The Park (Bluff Street) is now two block away on the left - just before the bridge. Look for our marquee on the left.

From I-55:
Exit Jefferson Street (Rt. 52) East on Jefferson toward downtown Joliet. At the intersection of Jefferson and Center, the Park is now about a block away. The entrence is on your left - just before the bridge. Look for our entrance and marquee on the left.

From Rt. 53:

Weber Road south into Crest Hill. At the intersection of Rt. 30 (Plainfield Road) and Rt. 7 turn left onto Rt. 30. Follow Rt. 30 for about 4 miles. Rt. 30 then angles right and becomes Center Street. Take Center Street to Jefferson Street. At Jefferson, turn left. The Park (Bluff Street) is now two blocks away on your left- just before you cross the bridge. Look for our entrance and marquee on the left.

From I-80:
Exit at Center Street. Turn right at the first stoplight (Center & Marion). You are now two blocks from the Park. Marion curves into Bluff Street. Our entrance and marquee are straight ahead.

Probably a good thing I don't live there anymore. Went there two years ago and came home with my 82 Camaro...Still a good place to hang out and see some nice cars, girls, burnouts and mud bogging.
