Car: 1987 transam
Engine: 383 /w superram
Transmission: 700r4 /w 2800rpm stall
need engine help
i'm trying to do my own prom for my car i've swapped out the engine a while ago.. it has a 383/superram setup now.. i'm trying to use the arap.bin i set the injector constant to 29.4 lbs there 30lb accel injectors the car is an 1987 so its MAF it just generally runs like **** and burns a ton of gas.. i dont have a aldl cable or wideband o2 scanner maybe somebody could show me how to dial this in first hand?
i've read the articles on DIY PROM they didnt really help much since there for SD cars and also require a scanning tool

You posted in the wrong board to get help on DIY prom tuning. This should have been in the DIY Prom board.
Very few people have burned their own chips on this board. I'm reading up on the info because I will need to start burning my own chips. But I still don't know much and I haven't been able to try out anything yet.

i do have a topic running on the DIY PROM board i was just hoping someone could have shown me first hand a few things but i have it figured out now..
