heya that z28 camaro belongs to a freind of mine..his name is Matt
he's a pretty cool guy..
normally he puts a actual tied bow-tie on the grill to signify it's the chevy "boe-tie" logo..
he's spent some big money on that car..
at least 5000 on the engine...rebuilt carb, aluminum heads, headers...the works...
it's pretty cool to see his car...getting some reconition...
those z-28s are getting some big money nowadays

Transmission: The kind that shifts....
That is true. If it doens't shift you WILL know.
When we put the new transmission in my car it shifted higher, now because of a fuse issue I had no gauges whatsoever. However, I knew that it was shifting early for 1-2, and I knew it was shifting too higher for the 2-3 upshift.
When the tacks came on I was right. The shift from 1-2 was about 400rpm too low, and the shift for 2-3 was 300rpm too high.
If you know your engine then you will know when its not shifting right.
