Cruise Night locations galore!!!
I was looking for some other cruise nights, and decided that a we b search might be useful.
Low and behod I found this HUGE list of places in the chicago land area. While for some it would be a hike, for others it could be in your back yard.
I felt that it would be nice to have a list of places to cruise to, so without further ado here is the info.
Day, Time, address, and even special car intereset is all there. Hope you can find some of these places and bring a little thirdgen to them.

I found some cool car shows from the internet last year. Also, There is a huge list of the weekly and one time only car shows in those Chicagoland Motorsports newspapers. You can pick one of these up just about anywhere that does anything car related.

From the North...
Exit off of I57 at Exit #315. Follow the curve to the right and you'll merge with south-bound traffic on Rt. 50. Turn left at the 1st stoplight (Armour Rd). Turn left at the next stoplight (Locke Dr). You'll see Steak 'N' Shake.
From the south (not like any of you'd come that way except me and ontogenesis)...
Get off at Exit #315. Turn left at the light to go south on Rt. 50. Turn left at the 2nd light (Armour Rd). Turn left at the next stoplight (Locke Dr).
Steak 'N' Shake is kind of hidden, so I thought I'd detail the directions a little.
We also meet at Jaenickes Hot Dogs (pronounced "Yan-a-keys" if you get lost) on Friday nights.
You turn right at Armour Rd instead of left. Go ~2 miles to Rt 45. (through 1 stoplight. Rt 45 is the second light). Jaenickes is about 1/2 block before Rt 45 on the RIGHT side. If you miss it, just turn right on Rt 45 and go through the AutoZone parking lot to the road behind. That's the road you missed.

I was going to start attending more cruise nights, but I ran into the problem of a blown tranny. Car doesn't go anywhere now.
I hope to have it up and running by the 10th so its ready for the Volo meet though.
