What kind of project you got going on with your third gen right now?
Just wanna see what everyone is doing to thier car. Is it at the shop getting something done? tell us what! You working on it? What are you doing? Whether your thirdgen is running or not. Let us know what you are doing. Is your car pretty much all done but just doing something minor? post it up. Is your car a complete project? Tell us what you did to it today! This week! whatever! This board has been dead im trying to revive. Waiting on money to do a project? tell us what you have planned. It's almost winter again.
I myself am in the middle of doing some tuning with the dynamicefi.com EBL flash. I am not very computer savvy so just the basic steps had me flustered a little bit. But I got them figured out. I am now into the actual tuning stages. My car still runs. Once I had the new computer installed I was running in about 15 mins. When I finished all the pre setup stuff. Very good product I am very happy with it.
I am also doing some gauges I am adding an electric fuel pressure gauge I got off of this site for 70.00 bucks. (not bad its 200.00+ brand new). I am looking for a triple or double gauge pod for the A pillar for a hardtop car. (anybody got one?) once I get this stuff all set. Unless thier is some part I need to get the car running better. I am pretty much done with the car for awhile.
So anyway post up. Make a smartass comment I dont care.

Workin on my 91 Z/28. Have the engine out waiting for funds to build up for a rebuild. Have the wiring harness out to do some minor repairs to that in a few places. Thinking of pulling the suspension to paint and put new tie rods and bushings. Have the auto tranny almost all the way out (still attatched to the torque arm) Going to do a 5 speed swap. I'll be getting the tranny when I go to Camaro Generations show on Sept 25th. Am going to paint the engine compartment while everything is out. I have the front bumber cover off too to paint the radiator support.

Getting Nitto NT555 285/40-17s for the rear this week, swapping out the cat back exhaust for a Dynomax super turbo system I got, getting some more money, a job, and swapping to an open air element, also getting Nitto NT555 245/45-17s for the front, not necessarily in that order. That's my plan for this month at least.

I've been wanting to start a thread showing my documentation of my build.... Once I find time I'll do that..
Anyways, current project is suspension. Putting KYB GR2 shocks and struts, with Intrax 2in lowering springs on in about 2 weeks. Everything is sitting in the garage just need to get a free weekend. Also planning on throwing some tint on the windows.
Future plans; posi/disk 3.73 rear, and C5 Deepdish rims, also need to paint my engine bay black. Still the stock red inside. yuck!
As the car sits now she is a beautiful Z28. Putting about 300RWHP is my guess.. gotta get a dyno run in soon. Drive her almost everyday and get compliments everywhere I go, and was just invited to join a Local car show club.

I was going to get the 05r's for my rear but the size i needed was backordered so i settled for bfg drag's

I have nothing going on with mine. Do have to do some paint repair after some nuclear bird crap etched the clear. My '66 is taking up all my time at the moment, trying to get it on the road for October.

Waiting to go indoors. It is sitting right now with a bad tranny (again) so a 6 speed swap will be in order when I get home, along with paint.
Last I heard it was still running... Ugh, another reason I don't like being in Japan...

Well I was gonna start my own thread and update my progress, or lack thereof..lol. its hard only being home 8 days out of the month. So I tore down a 355 vortec supperram with a hotcam back in Dec. Because of an improperly balanced rotating assembly. I replaced the original internal with a Scat 9000 crank, Probe forged pistons, new rods, etc. Then moved onto a 280xfi cam, and ordered a set of Dyno Dons 1 3/4in ceramic coated headers. For breathers, I picked up some Brodix IK200 alum heads and swapped the valvesprings in favor of a dual spring from compcams. I had to swap from my self aligning 1.6 rr to non self aligners since they hit the new springs. Next I sent the heads and the runners to Dr. Js performance in Anaheim for some portwork. When those finally came back, I painted some parts, assembled the motor and ordered a set of custom valve covers from Ansen USA in Torrance. I then went and bought a house so I haven't had a chance to to finish the car yet. I jus need to tune it, have the exhaust re attached and have the chip redone for the new mods. If there is a track event before winter I will be at it so I can see my new gains.

Last month I drove my car down to Orange County and got Dyno Don to install his headers and Kevin to tune it. Great guys! The headers look like a work of art and sound beastly! Also got the wonderbar and SFCs installed.
However, I'm assuming that the z28 wasn't ready for the trek from the Bay to LA and back and shortly after, my rear diff died and engine overheated and I had to get both rebuilt.
With the rebuild, I need to tune it again, so now I'm delving into the world of tuning and bought the Moates Autoprom. The learning curve is steep, but it seems like it will be fun. If anyone in NorCal is kind enough to give me a beginner's walkthrough to get me on track, let me know!!!

Thanks, base coat clear coat, enamel by Nason. Its a GM color... Brilliant red I believe was the name.. Touched it up with some pearl and a bit of black to darken it. I like how it turned out! I have the paint code at home if you want it.

Not in Cali, but I am almost done with my F1 procharger 390 build. I also ripped out all my brake lines, and bent all my own. Installed Spohn caster plated and a CPP MC. I then cut my floor board to install my fuel cell in the trunk. Installed an Aeromotive A1000 pump and filters. F1 is attached to a FMIC. Here is a pic off my cardomain. I will be firing it up in two weeks to break it in. There is also a circle track radiator that can handle 1000 HP from be cool that cost me $250. It has a nasty -16 AN upper port. Again, there are pics that are further back than I am right now.
In two weeks I will post WAY better pics. Shooting for 800 HP. T56. 12 bolt. 315s, C5 brakes, 8 point, 100% custom autometer gauges, etc....

Sad to say, 305 tpi from a 91z28. Had to completely rebuild it. New rods, crank, pistons and rings. I hit that point of no return and decided to do it better and had it ported, got a new cam, had heads rebuilt and got a set of headers and 3" ss exhaust. Went ahead and rebuilt the trans with a borg Warner clutch kit, transgo jr shift kit and bought a precision 2200 stall converter. Nothing major...

Too poor to work on my car!
Maybe when the wife goes back to work and I get some of my debt paid off to where we're not paying like $750 a month in payments then I can afford to work on my car.. lol
