On a side note, I ordered new plug wires today. Still Livewires from DUI. This time they will be routed underneath the headers as opposed to bringing them over the valve covers. Should be here by the middle of the week next week. So next Saturday I can update the results.

Update: Its fixed!!!!! Champion plugs have been my problem the ENTIRE time. I got my new plug wires and installed those to no avail. I removed the Champion plugs, did a weeks worth of research on plugs and made some calls. Finally this morning I got a call back from NGK who recommended the BKR6E plug. So I went and grabbed a set of those and slapped those bit__es in. The car started on first crank, ran super smooth, revs with no problem or hesitation, idles like it should... ITS A DONE DEAL. I gotta get my exhaust re attached and get him tuned and its GO TIME!!!!

New front ball joints, poly control arm bushings, and Hotchkis springs. If you order them for your car and you get hotchkis 1903, 1903f, or 1903r there wrong! Those are for 93-98 cars. 82-92 need 1902, 1902f, or 1902r to work properly. Just an fyi.

Put in a 4th gen rearend and am waiting to the finishing parts to complete it. The founders pan hard rod is awesome! I orderd the on car adjustable with poly bushings.

So we gotta track day GTG coming up in April that is 2 months away. What does everyone have to get done on the car before that day so we can have as many thirdgen's tearing up the pavement at Sacramento raceway?!?! Even if your not racing. our last GTG at the racetrack had a pretty good sized turnout. Nearly 20 cars. Would love to see nearly 30 for this one.

just got an edelbrock victor series aluminum water pump going to install. my current pump has 70k and it was a cheap cardone new pump and I dont trust it. So therefore I am doing a lil preventive maintenace. I picked up this eddy pump for 100.00 bucks new so it'll be lighter, high flow, heavy duting bearings. And I wont have to worry about the pump going out anytime soon, hopefully.

I'm trying to change my gauge cluster for a z28 one but I can't disconnect the stupid old one is there some kind of trick or am I just retarded?

Umm those clusters are so easy to change. Just take the front fascia off. and any other bolts you see in front and pull it out. the connectors are stationary behind it and it just slips into place.

There's some article on here that I was using but it said to shove my hand behind the speedometer & disconnect it but there's no room up there for a hand lol

on an electronic speedometer like your car should have their is no cable. The one I pulled out at the junkyard just pulled right out after i removed all the bolts.

Current Project: Lower intake manifold gaskets are blown...So far I have the hood off! lol. Any tips/suggestions?, going to use Chilton & Haynes manuals to do this. Hoping to get it done soon but there isn't enough time lately. Ugh!

theres no way i could make that, my interior is completely taken apart, rims need painting, Car needs painting, the list is never ending >.< I work that day anyway...
But i hope to get the car Done by the end of the month. we'll see how deliveries go of items I need.

Yeah it was hella easy lol. But the speedo & gas gauge still dont work but i got it off hawks so it shouldnt be the cluster, are those little connectors that you plug the cluster into supposed to have all the little gold "teeth"? Also what's infl rest mean, Cause it only turns on with my new cluster?

The gold teethe is normal...inflatable restraint is an air bag light. If it was me id pull the damn bulb out and call it good. I hate airbags. lol.

I see. To be honest I have about close to no experience with your type of cluster. I found one at pick n pull one time pulled it out in 5 minutes and sold it for 140.00 bucks. So my information and knowledge is severely limited.
