Re: Camaro night at Sac Raceway Wed 9-22

I was thinking about going if I can get out of the shop at a respectable time. So Kevin can drive the car now? Or you'll be driving two cars? Or just taking the formula?

Re: Camaro night at Sac Raceway Wed 9-22

Thanks alot for the support guys!

Well it was A great night at the strip Kevin won the Camaro lane beating his uncle in the final. The old guy won lane four in the new Bird the car runs great 13.6 at 108mph spinning off the line bad we need some drag radials. The car pulls real hard the LS1 motors are real impressive.

Re: Camaro night at Sac Raceway Wed 9-22

I'll guess 2.3 60's haha
That's why I don't bother racing my DD LS1 on street tires
I'm sure if you lose the spinning the mph will go down, but you'll see low 13's like Bully.

Good for Kevin! You guys are savages at winning lanes!

Re: Camaro night at Sac Raceway Wed 9-22

I wouldnt doubt it... I was running 13.7s with 2.2's, and as I got the 60ft down, my ets came down with it. Too bad I had low compression though I would have loved to see at least a 12.9 with this engine. Im unsure of the route this car will be taking. If I go Ls1, I plan on keeping the superram if I can. May find its way on a 91-92 z28 in the future if I can get my hands on one.

Re: Camaro night at Sac Raceway Wed 9-22

We started the night out lowering the air pressure down to 17lb like we do with Kevins MT drag radials but that did not work (60' was 2.29) so we put it up to 25lb and it spun less the the 60' dropped to a best of 2.15 but was avg @ 2.18

As far as the specs on the car Auto, 3:23 gear the LS1 I think is rated @ 325hp

Re: Camaro night at Sac Raceway Wed 9-22

Due to low attendance on Wed's, Sac Raceway has "unofficially" lifted the 11.50 rule.

I was thinking about going out and seeing if we fixed our nos problem we were having at pinks, but I'm doubting the track is prepped.

Run 9's on a Wed?? WTF!
