PINKS ALL OUT @ Infineon 10-17 & 18,-2010
Well its that time again, whether you like PINKS ALL OUT or not, its still a fun time to go & check out some local drag racing.
The Infamous "Rocklin Automotive Courtesy Shuttle"will be there promoting our "Hopes & Dreams" 1991 Pontiac Trans Am.
We'll be there Friday & Saturday, so come on by and show some TGO love.
BTW I have hats, shirts, stickers, banners, and 6 tickets for the Napa Hospitality Suite to give away.

I've never been to Infineon, maybe I can make it out to this.
Anyone see the Virgina episode of Pinks this season? Nice clean '84 T/A in the 11's somewhere that made it to the final 2.

I ended up getting to Infineon on Friday at 9am. My car number was 337.
So since i was one of the last 10 cars to get there, we were parked at the top end of the track, which turned out to be a pretty good place to see all the action, and cars as they came around.
There was over 500 entries, so that caused us to get teched about 230 pm.
We spent the night at turn 8, and parked on the "curb".
We got 2 runs on Friday, and 2 on Saturday. I beat their floating minimum, so I was still eligible to be picked.
Rich C said, weather permitting and no oil downs he would not just pick 16, not 32, but 64 cars. Thats a "Pinks first". Anyway it just gave more people a chance for the 10k.
Anyway, my number wasnt called, but it was cool just hangin out with fellow racers and being a part of it.
Best time 10.89 @ 130, (prob w/ nos on take off)
Heres some still pics, I'll post the professional pics taken by Speed TV tomarrow.

That sucks was hoping to see you get picked. The car looks good. So you have a problem with Nitrous on the takeoff? is that what that meant?

These are pictures of pictures, but you get the idea.
I'm leaving off the converter WOT @ 4000 rpms. The car leaves like in the pic, then the power and nose drop for a small amount of time, then the no2 comes back on and the car the screams back to life @ 7500 no prob.
At least we're data logging and the problem is consistant. Should be albe to ID and fix the prob.

Re: PINKS ALL OUT @ Infineon 10-17 & 18,-2010
Yeah, i guess Sept is the 9th month, not the 10th
They had all the drivers gather at the tree to announce the All out 64.
That track surface was something else, just as you walked past the water box onto the burnout area, it was like walking on human flypaper. The track was almost sticky enough to pull your shoes off, if your laces weren't tight. Very impressive.
The entire group only had .400 seperating everybody. Joe Brown got picked again and he was a 10.2 car, so I guess the field was 9.80-10.20
