My car has no *****
I need to find a new (used) engine/tranny for my car is running but everytime i'm about to hit a hill or i just wanna go fast it takes forver to pick up i mean accelerate if anyone an i mean ANYONE knows where i can get a F U C K I N G awsome deal let me know please!!!!! PLEASE I'M CARLESS

Engine: stock? 305 w/crossfire
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.73/stock 2.98?

There are a fer questions you should ask before throwing an engine/trans at your car. mainly can what you got be fixed for less time, money, or work then replacing?
did it start not having any power all the sudden or over time?
is the trans slipping?
can you get power by manually shifting?
is it even the engine or a plugged exhaust?
If the engine is toast do you want to upgrade? pick-n-pull has a lot of 350s
If it is knocking, slipping, or spewing smoke then you might need some parts
Just some thoughts, you might want to have a shop look at it before dumping money. I would hate to see you change the engine and trans only to find that your map sensor or tps is bad.
I do have a 305 block, the #'s look up to be a '78 I think, but there is a rebuilder sticker on the side.

can you get power by manually shifting? ** Nope i floor it but pick up is sluggish

Get a compression test. I have a 305 RS too with auto tranny. Major difference with a major full complete tuneup! Also helped tons with a cat back 3" exhaust kit, mandrell bent is the best! Got it off Summit, cost around $350, edlebrock, sounds sweet though and help a lot. Do some headers too, I have yet to do those though. But first start with a compression test and a complete diag.
