Tuner Savy Help in the Bay Area needed

I'd like to meet up with someone who has experience with prom tuning for our cars. I do not have equipment yet, and I would like to get a run down with someone who knows what they are doing. I'm new to the tuning world and would like to get a good tune burned for the camaro. If anyone's down to help me out, I'd definitely pay you for your time, within reason, and there's always a dedicated refrigerator full of beer!

I'm sure your lack of responses is probably just due to lack of widespread tuning equipment/knowledge in the area.

Folks spend big bucks on either paying a tuner, or buying the equipment necessary and taking the time to learn to tune themselves.

I no longer have any equipment for OBDI self-tuning and the tuner/shops I know will cost much more than some beer and a few bucks.

If you've done quite a bit of reading on the DIY board, once you have the equipment, there are a ton of folks on here that may be able to provide online assistance as you go.

At least you live in the Bay area where there is help available to tune your car. I'm in the middle of nowhere here. LOL

Let me know what you find, Will. I'm back in the SBC game, going for a 383 + SuperRam. Sold off my LS1, no time for it. I need something I can swap in no more than a weekend, and another few weeks twiddling around.

Newton, I'm glad you were able to unload the LS1, looking forward to seeing the car again one of these days. Will you be sticking with the 6spd?
