Car: 1987 IROC Z/28 Camaro
Engine: 355
Transmission: T56
Axle/Gears: 9 Bolt w/ 4.10s
I finally have a 9 bolt!
T56 works ALOT better without them damn 2.73s... Now my next step is to get some 4.11s.

Looks good!
The Borg-Warner 9-bolt was last offered in '89 and supposedly is more durable than the 10.
Parts are more expensive and harder to come by, but places like 9bolt.com are trying to change that.
I've got the 9-bolt/3.27s in mine, but there was also the G92/3.45 option available for manuals.

Stock for stock the 9-bolt is a much better rearend than the 10-bolt, even the 89+ 28 spline 10's.
Problem like Del said is aftermarket support but how often do you really want to be changing **** in your rear end?
