1LE Spare Tire
I have a 1LE spare tire (N64 RPO, aluminum spare etc.) and all accessories to go along with it. It has never been used and is in very good shape. It comes with a jack, the jacks ratchet, CO2 canister (still full), screws and hooks to secure properly in spare tire compartment. I dont want to ship it but if need be it will cost another ~$50 (total it weighs 42lbs).
$110 + Shipping.
If interested call me at 916-799-8634 or PM/Post with zip or questions.

Huh...j*w. Don't even start. You're actually calling me a j*w. You're the one that owes me money. Cameron asked me to do something on his car and paid me. He even drove back 15 miles just to give me 20 bucks. It's his car, his sale, his business. You're just jealous cuz he made "bucks". If he is like this at this age, knowing Cameron, he should be financially situated later in life. Talk to him some more and learn. He has great plans for his life. Whenever he comes around, we discuss other things life has to offer not just disposable cars.

Re: 1LE Spare Tire
The 1LE spare is special to an extent. Its just a spare, but it is rarer and works alot better than other spare tires (its wider, fits over bigger brakes ,and weighs a little less I believe because its aluminum). I dont know why you have it, I was reading on another thread that you have it if your car has the N64 RPO code (which all 1LE's have).

Re: 1LE Spare Tire
This is not the well-known 1LE spare meant for the rear PBR calipers, just to throw that out there, the 1LE spare was a 15inch aluminum inflatable spare that was painted black, so it looked like a 15inch steel inflatable spare. Given I find this wheel much more appealing aesthetically, but this spare is pretty common in the 87-88 trans ams and irocs with the 16inch wheel package, given condition they are found in varies greatly from one to the next. This appears to be a nice looking spare, just want to make sure guys with the PBR calipers in the rear don't end up getting the wrong spare, since the 10-spokes are 14inch wheels, good luck with the sale.

Re: 1LE Spare Tire
So what rear brakes does my 1LE have? I was reading about the misconception of what a real 1LE spare was on another thread, I thought that my 1LE would come with a 1LE spare. Please elaborate on your statment so that I can see how you came to that conclusion. This spare fits on my rear axels and over the brakes, I was under the impression that PBR rear brakes were from 89-92 even for 1LE's.
And I forgot to add OBO is the OP, so make and offer.
Sold for $6,850.

That's a pretty darn good price you got for it. How many miles were on it again?
Still looking for a 3rd gen, something not so rare?

Re: 1LE Spare Tire
I cant find why in other threads my 1LE came with the this given spare tire, but because it came in my 1LE car, I am calling it a 1LE spare tire.
I will only buy another thirdgen if I need a car and I find another deal.

Re: 1LE Spare Tire
The 10 spoke alloy, which is a 14" will fit over the cast iron rear calipers, but not the rear pbr calipers, I have tried and seen for myself, a pbr disc rear will only fit a 15 inch spare over it, I have both types and the only one that will fit over the rear pbr calipers is the 15"

Re: 1LE Spare Tire
think 89-92 cars with rear disk all had the pbr's and 11" disk, pre-89 cars with rear disk had the iroc calipers and 10" disk

Re: 1LE Spare Tire
10 spoke does not fit on our 1LE. Only one that fit's is the black painted aluminum 15 inch. That spare is for the smaller 10 inch iron caliper non PBR rear.

Re: 1LE Spare Tire
So GM made a mistake by giving my 1LE car a 10-spoke spare, because this 10- spoke will not fit over my rear PMR calipers? And do all cars with 4 wheel disk breaks between 89-92 have a PBR rear brakes? If both are true than no 89-92 car has a spare that fits their rear disk breaks because they dont have the rare 15" spare, no?

Re: 1LE Spare Tire
GM probly did not make a mistake unless you bought your car from the factory, lots of people buy their car and someone along the way stuck the wrong spare in their's, my car came with a steel 15" inflatable, and has the rear PBR calipers, the aluminum one was a special option and was standard equipment on the 1LE cars, I have only seen one once in a rare while come up on here or on ebay. Most cars came with the steel 15" inflatable spare if they had the rear PBR calipers, which are easy to distinguish from the rear cast iron calipers. And yes 89-92 rear disc cars have PBR calipers and require a 15" spare.

Re: 1LE Spare Tire
Bottom line, regardless of how the spare got into your car, if you have PBR's, the 10-spoke spare is incorrect for the application. I've had the 10-spoke and currrently have the alum 15. Frankly, one way or the other, rubber of that age is...well, scary, IMO.

Re: 1LE Spare Tire
So, according to James C and company, GM made a mistake because my 1LE has the N64 RPO giving it the 10 spoke aluminum spare. And GM messed up when they put the wrong spares in all the cars between 89-92 with 4 wheel disk brakes(since most everyone doesn't have the 15" and they are so hard to find). This seems hard to believe but I dont have my 1LE to prove whether or not the spare fits on the rear (the pictures I have seen are inconlclusive, they dont show whether there is actaul rubbing which is hard to determine through looking at a picture.)
Make any offer, I have no use for the spare or Manual.
