Re: My new CAI

So let's hear the details copycat.
A few of the parts look slightly different, nice bigger K&N you added.

Which model Procharger?
2 or 3 core intercooler?
Any install issues?
Any other mods to support it?
Tuning?
$??

Sweet, so any problems or leaks or anything? Have you driven it yet?

That is a big 3.5" Airaid cone filter and 3.5" hard inlet pipe that I made. Much better than the small filter and restrictive adapter it came with.

Re: My new CAI

Something in the back of my mind told me it was yours from when I read you sold it on 3GO.

I guess that answers my questions.
So it's the older P600B model that taps into the oil pan with 2-core intercooler?

What psi/pulley size? Did you hook it up $ wise?

Re: My new CAI

that was the first start, I wanna get the fuel pump changed before I drive it around. I got both 9psi and 12psi pulley, I running the 12psi pulley. no leaks or problems from what I can tell. the oil drain was a PIA. I ended up getting another fitting and hose. should work but I plan on changing it. it kinda has to climb alittle near the motor mount.

I got a good deal on it, he even came down and I helped him install it.

Re: My new CAI

Is the pulley they claim gives 12psi, the 4"? It should be marked. Will depend on your mods what you actually see.

I see the FMU in the back. What're you doing for fuel and tuning? Stock injectors?

Ah ok, I know when I left we just had the 90* fitting in the pan and that was it. I figured you might have to find a 45* barb or something to make it work right. Let me know if you can't get something to work. You definitely want it to go downhill the whole way to drain properly.

I got what I wanted for it, and I did drive down and help install it for two days, though it still didn't get finished.. kept running into snags. Ah well. It looks like he got it finished up nicely.

It's not marked, and it's smaller than 4" since the P600B doesn't have the same step up ratio as the self contained models. I bet he could see 10psi on the gauge depending how high he revs it and assuming no belt slip.
