Sorry to say but...
The Formula will be in the garage until February when I get taxes. I'm still going to buy little things now like gaskets and cam so I can atleast get the engine back in the car but the rest is going to wait till tax return time so I can do my T56 swap instead of buying a stall converter just to have a stock tranny and have to resell the converter then anyway. I will also do my Z06 brakes, sportlines then too. Kevin from Socal will be doing my tune on the dyno. I just want to be able to do it right and I think if I piece it together it I might miss something. I am unhappy that I can't drive it till then but on the otherhand I know the outcome will be awesome so, I just wanted to update everybody on the car. I hope to be towards the top of the 08 fastest times list.
I also bought a new daily driver to kinda cure my speed need. It's a 98 Audi A4 Quattro 2.8 5 speed with H&R springs and Bilstein shocks so I will be able to drive it in the snow too which I couldn't/wouldn't ever dream of in the Formula.

Re: Sorry to say but...
Sometimes good things have to wait. God only know that I would love to have completed my 82 but the job change caused me to put everything on hold for a bit. Heck I even got my 67 back from the body shop and I can't even find some time to bolt some finnish parts on that.
Wait and do it right. You'll be much happier in the long run!

Re: Sorry to say but...
not that just I've been thinking about getting into spec racing, and I wont use the Iroc. I would sell the Iroc to buy a better platform. I'm still in the thinking stage.
I want to finish the Iroc but I fear that if I do I won't be able to sell it

Re: Sorry to say but...
I'm gonna take some time off work in july so I can work on the Iroc. If things go close to plans it will be able to run N/A early/mid August, unless I can find a good place to fab up my turbo pips by then.
