Re: Anyone need an Aluminum DS or 36/24mm Sway Bars
I can never keep the sway bar sizes straight, but yours are the biggest ones that came with the Camaro's right??? I've got the stock IROC sway bars on my 88 Camaro and am unsure of the size; I think they're larger than the other packages that year.
As for the driveshaft, mine came with aluminum BUT I was thinking this week that I should upgrade all the U-Joints.
If this is something that will work for you, let me know. I'm making this a quick response as I was just on my way out to dinner..
Sincerely,
Nitro

You should have 34mm front and 21mm rear. Might not really be worth it to upgrade since you already have bigger bars. I seen a HUGE difference when I went from 30/18 to 36/24, but you definately won't see that big of a difference.

Hey, Thanks a WHOLE LOT for the quick education. I had crawled underneath with a digital caliper and was not getting a sound size rating so was confused. Take Care and I hope you sell your stuff soon.

Anyone know off hand the size of the V6 bars?
Edit: I think the stockers are 30mm/18mm, so this would be a dramatic improvement, if they bolt right in.
I wouldn't mind swapping my stockers + driveshaft off the car for those pieces if it's worthwhile.

I have someone that is interested in the 24mm bar.
So I might only have the 36mm front one available.
Does anyone have a 30mm front sway bar laying around?

They do. You will also need the proper size bushings. Guldstrand sells polyurethane ones for the 36mm bars, and probably for the 24mm too. If not Energy Suspension has the 24's (or you could probably get stock rubber from a parts store if that's all you want). I wouldn't run a 36 front with an 18mm rear though, that could cause understeer depending on what spring rates you are running.

When I sell the bar it would come with Guldstrand 36mm bushings. Right, 36/18 probably isn't the best combo.

Bummer, I'd be interested in the complete set of 3 items, not just one sway.

Yeah, I'll let you know.
Someone messaged me about the 24mm Sway Bar right before your first post.
We've emailed back and forth about meeting up but I haven't received a final response yet.
