Car: 91' Camaro
Engine: 383 ci
Transmission: T-56
Axle/Gears: 9 bolt / 3:70
Need some input....
What do you all think a 92' Z28 is worth...?
T-tops , 305 , auto , AC , all the normal power stuff including drivers seat , 108,054 miles , fair to good condition... No mods aside from a new Kenwood CD player and pioneer/ Eclipse speakers..
I am planning on putting it up for sale in the near future so I would like to get some input on what would be fair to ask. KBB places it between 32 and 3700 , would 3500 be too much to ask? I just had it smogged and a new cat put on, maybe 5 or 6 miles on the car since then. Please let me know what you all think....Thanks,
Jason

bluebook RAPES our cars, for what reason, i dont know maybe because they made so many, theres too many factors to list, specially knowing all about 3rd gen camaros to list a price, also depends who your selling it to, they might be a dipshit and not notice things that you or i would notice, but the basics come down to visual, paint and engine, miles, and interior, thats what people care about the most, you can base the price off of that.

A lot will depend (in my eyes) on how the car shows. If the doors open and close firmly, there is no smoke on start up, the interior is in good shape, and so forth you could get more.
TO be honest, 83CC is right about the blue book. the 3rd Gen is in a purgatory or values because of where it is the world. There are still many examples around and the demand is not that high. Still, if your car is in great shape start it at a price about 1K over what the lowest is you'll go. That way you'll have a little room to negotiate. That's what I'd do.
Oh... and then I would post pics here to remind us what the car looks like.

Kelly Blue Book...
In my area of California (North of San Francisco/Santa Rosa), the Camaros vary quite a bit in final $$$$ numbers. The IROCS and Z28's, V-8's tend to sell for a chunk more IF the paint is really-really clean. Also the more popular colors can run a full grand higher, while the white over beige interiors, sell for a whole lot less. I've talked to people who've paid a couple thousand or more over book for a blue, green, or shiny black exterior with chrome rims....
There's all kinds of running RS's for sale in town that are listed at around a thousand bucks or less. They also seem to take a jump in value as soon as early summer rolls around.

It is for sale if anyone knows someone interested. Asking 3500.... If I get what I am asking, I will put the polished stock wheels from my 91' on it.
