I am 99% sure the biggest you can go with the GTA wheels would be the 12" 1LE or 12" LS1 brakes. I would guess that the cheapest and most plentiful solution would be LS1 brakes on all 4 corners and of course the proper master/proportioning valve/rear brake lines. You should be able to piece the system together yourself for a good amount less than $1000.

MIKE!!! DO WHAT YOU GOT TO DO!!! Its not safe driving with shaky brakes... You wont regret it bro!! and im sure that those LS1 brakes will work with those rims. My 15" rims fit with my brakes just couldnt drive anywere LOL!!! SO im sure that 16 will be fine

The C4 fronts are 12" and essentially the same as 1LE brakes. The C4HD fronts are 13" but won't clear a GTA wheel. Unless he wants to get something exotic like a Wilwood caliper, he's probably going to need to stick to a 12" choice, probably whatever he can get the best deal on. C4/1LE/LS1 will all offer comparable braking power.
Or of course he could just upgrade to better parts and keep the caliper/rotor sizes stock.

Yep... I read that.
I think I'm going with the TGO homie. Here's what he is offering from Carolina:
Complete LS1 kit: spindles, zinc coated hubs and brackets, loaded calipers, new rotors, GM ceramic pads, Earl's braided line set included standard, Timken bearings and seals, GM banjo bolts, new studs, assembled and including all hardware: $775 + shipping; $810 with Hawk HPS pads; with red PC calipers: $850 plus shipping, $875 + shipping with red PC and Hawk HPS pads.
I'm gonna go with the no frills calipers and get them installed locally. All I gotta do now is wait for the stock transaction to clear.

That sounds like a decent deal, I like the fact that you get new spindles, all hardware, and zinc plated hubs.
