Track tomorrow - 5/24
Well I know most of you went last week, but I'll be there for the first time with the new mods.
I'll post the results tomorrow night.
Maybe I'll see some of y'all there.
Any guesses on my e.t./mph?
Keep in mind I was only trapping 96mph before with a 14.1 best.
No high expectations here, as long as I don't stay in the 14's like Eric, haha, sorry man.

no need to be sorry, the truth hurts.
I'm gonna go out and say you can net a 13.5 @ 104mph.
lets see you move up our lil nor cal track list!

high 70's, maybe 80*.
i'm thinkin' my mph will be closer to 101/2.
no way i'll drop a full second and gain 8-9mph.
wouldn't bet on it though.

im hoping you get at least a high 13, this is the first time to the track with your new combo, don't expect to dial it in in two runs.
Good luck!
I can't make it, I have other crap to attend to.

Thanks guys, we'll see.
I don't think my gal will remember to bring the dinky vid cam.
I know the car too well to not get a decent time after several runs.
Just a matter of finding the best place to shift, probably 5500 and get some traction.
I'd be dissapointed if I can't pull mid 13's, logic being:
If Travis had a .8 gain with HSR/heads/bigger cam, then I could expect maybe a .6 gain. sooo around 13.5-6 should be my guess.
Dang, that sucks, haha.
Low 13's with the TPI is possible, but I'd need an awesome 60', like 1.8X.

Thanks Kyle! Good to see you and your crew.
Good night for racing.
Got a bit faster with each run, but the last 2 stunk, no traction by the end of the night for some reason.
13.5@101.8 1.97 60' was the best. I know it has a bit more in it though.
According to my calc site, the trap/time/weight have a potential best of 13.3.
So I've got a slim margin for improvement, and I know it lies with getting that 60' closer to 1.8 status.
Till next time!

Haha, I hope there's a little more.
I was driving it like i stole it man, but I still need to work at that 1.8X 60'.
Shifted around 5500-5700.
Just another tenth or two and I'll be satisfied, this year.
Always running drag radials, probably be ready for another set soon.
I got it dialed in tuning wise shortly after the heads/cam, as I could tell it wasn't running up to par.
Smooth as hell now and pulls throughout the powerband.
The lope of the cam is just a hint in the cockpit, idles great.
Will need more seat time to squeeze out a 13.3/4.

All you guys and your sub 15's suck! I need my new motor asap.
Del, you picked up what, 10 mph? Imagine what your procharger would have added. Not a bad 60 ft. I couldn't get under 2.1 last time. What were your old 60ft's.

haha, i'll pass on the laughing gas, for now.
i'll save the power adders next year, if i'm not drowning in a mortgage payment.
some front end susp. work and other ext. items are on the list first, tint/paint, etc.
Steve - I've gotten a 1.98 60' before, but usually they are always 2.0.
Picked up 6mph's and 6 tenths on the e/t. About what I thought.
I'm down to do a TNT or a Grudge, that's the only way I have a shot at an even better 60'.
I tried launching @ a higher rpm the last 2 to get it down, but spun badly.

I'm sure I can hit a 1.** 60 ft if I had more runs or if I played with timing and had a tight intake but it was chugging off the line.I think I got a 2.0 on one of the runs.

What's stopping it from roaming the streets of suburbian placerville?
How's the overall tune coming along?
What does your MAF vs RPM table look like in TunerPro?
Did you raise all the #'s across the board by a certain % ?
Is it really digesting that much air?

once i get my 30's back in i'll be happy
my timing wasnt advancing fast enough tonight with my wot runs. from 3-4.5k rpm i had to toss 9 more degrees in (only recording 26 total at the time i tested) and from 4.5 and up i threw in 4 more degrees . trying to bring it all in to around 35 first to see how it runs and knocks. as it sat today before i made the changes i only had 2 knock counts in a 10 mile round trip.
