My engine plans
Well,My birthday is next month and I would like to start my build for the t/a and drop it in next winter. With the promotion I should be able to have it running by next April or May.
My plans are a fully forged bottom end 355,
AFR 210 heads,
1.6 Full roller rockers,
Stealth Ram with throttle body,
ATI Pro charger, 6-9 or 15-20 psi (undecided) D-1SC,3 Core intercooler
Comp Cam (503in 510 ex@ .50)ish
T56
I still need to figure out what size injectors to run though.I should be able to do the short block next month and add onto it here and there.Any ideas on power, times?Any other suggestions?
The 305 will most likely find a new home in my 4runner.

After the baby gets here in Nov-Dec,the only time I will be able to drive it is by myself so I want to make it a really fun car for a "release,if you will".I haven't decided on the p-1 or D-1 yet.I still want it streetable.

Sounds like some big plans Steve, big heads, big boost.
Definitely 11's worthy boost depending, maybe more.
Do you plan to do a lot of street driving with it?
With a fully forged bottom end, you could more than handle a 200 shot of nitrous when you needed it.
That might be more fun that the blower, and cheaper.

Not to offend anybody but I don't like nitrous.I want my power all the time.It will be more of a weekend warrior kinda car. Now,if the family wants to go somewhere we can just hop in and go.After the baby gets here than I will be short 1 seat so it will get driven alot less. I'm looking at a 305 with a custom Eaton m90 setup on it for 1,000,more of a profit thing for me though. The blower is going to be the main hurdle(price wise) but I really want it.
Here is the m90.

You've got to love that blower whine!
But there's something about a big 6-71 sticking through the hood that does it for me. I'm pretty sure my force fed project will be my firstgen

Steve, how did Terrell's differential work with your car?
Inside, I really don't want to know.

It's still sitting in the garage.I need a new master cylinder and prop valve so I can swap it all without down time.I would buy yours but don't want to drive that far for it.

Steve, I'd let it go for what I got it for plus shipping. I do have a guy here in Fremont with a 10 bolt and disks he will make me a deal on. The problem is he doesn't know the gearing on it:
Details here
I'll know for sure whether or not I am spending money on the diff or the hood this week (Ron, call me!).

OK... I am gonna buy the hood from Ron. Just gotta figure out how to get it down the peninsula. This means I'll save the brakes and differential for next year.
The MC and prop valve are yours if you want it Steve.

How much again? My shipping address is 400 Ridge Club Dr.Stateline,Nv.89449.C/O Steve Parent. Thanks alot.
I just got my wonderbar, centerlink, idler arm on.What a difference. It was sloppy over bumps before but now it feels so much tighter.Probably the mixture of parts.Next week will be the rear swap.I picked up new valve covers and a holley afpr at Summit last night too.
Just drive up without your hood, install his and drive home.I've had to do that before.

Thinking about picking up Jeremy's Procharger Steve?
That's the same model I sold a couple months ago.
Older oil line fed unit, but it will do the job better than most.
I figured you jump on that seeing that he lives not too far.

I'm planning on the forged shortblock but am not sure if I should go turbo.I like the procharger and if this guy gets back to me in a timely fashion then I'll get the supercharger.
