pictures will come soon. I promise.

things left i want to do include finish clearcoating the engine bay, painting the engine block, waiting on my new lifters to come in, then once they come in, i want to double check my pushrod length. still need oil pan gasket, poly engine mounts, header gaskets. i want to port match my heads to the exhaust gaskets. And I think that about sums it up.
How late are you nerds up geeze. Traviz at least you pay attention to detail unlike other people on here that run 14s still with a whole top end. Maybe your up for a good race when its done? How soon do you think it will see the track so I can show you how to miss 2nd as always.

Why did the machine shop not deck the block? I am sure it was checked to be true, but it seems to me to be one of those quick and simple things to do for a little extra piece of mind...

Jason, that is EXACTLY what I was thinking.

Looks like they just bored it threw the new slugs in and got all nuts with the aluminum color paint that was on sale at Ace Hardware.

So who's the Rustang fan?

theirs just so much i want to do before i even feel comfortable racing it . ../nitrous/
I wouldn't even think about nitrous yet man.
You need to run it and make sure everything is in tune and in tact first.
Nitrous should be a final touch IMO.
Pretty impressive all the time & $ going into it, should be quite a sight to see.
