Actually guys, I kinda have bad news also... I took a cold shower the other day which caused my godads to head north in search of warmth. As of today, my left godad still hasn't dropped. So, I don't think I can make it...
Ok, ok... maybe it wasn't that funny! Actually, I'll be there a bit early. Prolly between 12 & 1 pm. 1.5hrs is kinda short for a Q anyways. I need a little more time to relax, bullsh!t, and eat If anyone wants to come before 2:30, I'll be there...
With people dropping out, and others who are uncommited, we have more stuff that's unaccounted for. However, I don't think we need to bring as much overall as it seems we'll have closer to 12-15 ppl. Here's a revised list:
* I'd appreciate if a local guy would pony up for this last item. If not, I'll bring it. Also, could someone bring a small boombox w/ batteries?
Dwayne - Whats the status on your lodging?
TraviZ - If you get lost, call me and we'll come find you.
If anyone needs to reach me, my cell # is (559) 392-6304

Damn dude...i guess you have to go in for one of those gonad retrieval proceedures....lol.
Here is the thing with the park...we have the tables reserved from 2:30 till 10pm at night...someone else may have reserved them from 10am till 2pm...but I don't know if they did without going over and checking, so an early arrival of 1pm may not be strongly advised.
As for the cruize route...I'm pretty much set on taking a cruize up 168 around the back side of Bass Lake and then down the 41 home. It is a nice relaxing drive with lots of curves. Should be fun.
Anything else that comes up I'll deal with tonight after work. Hope everyone can make it out.
Also Sammy, BBQ runs from 2:30 till whenever, then the cruize after that, probably sometime after 4:30 or 5pm...so you might want to get your shift covered if you plan to make the cruize. It'd be nice to have you go along.

Vexter - I'll be early too. See ya there.
I have some 2 way FRS radios I'll bring for the cruise.
Whats up with the monster trucks or BB. I'm up for either. Just as long as they have beer.

This year my 9 year old son will be shooting trap at the state shoot in Kingsburge this summer.
How far is that from the BBQ?

not to mention having to get a new computer just days before caz my old one was whackin' out throwin' codes.

What a great day we had yesterday guys. It was good to finally put a face to a lot of your names. The BBQ went very well, thanks need to go out to Aaron, our chef, for taking care of the cooking duties and thanks to everyone else who brought all the stuff we shoved in our faces.
The cruize went extremely well, minus my little mishap after we got back into town. Thanks again Dwayne for bailing me out of that situation. I guess I should have performed that free mod a long time ago. lol Anyway thanks again.
As for the rest of the evening I think everything went great. Our little racing scene was great, we all got a in a few runs to quench our thurst for racing that night. It was all together a great day.
Thanks for being a part of our little GTG guys...it was a ton of fun and I know I plan to do another one sometime hopefully this fall. But as for now, it's time for a Sac or Central Coast one for us to come too....lol....so get planning. Thanks again guys.
Oh yeah, before I forget I know a lot of you brought digital cameras and took some pictures and some videos...I know we'd all love to see them as soon as you guys can post them.
Thanks again,
Ryan George

Never knew there were so many guys who love to drive aggressively. Had alot of fun watching everyone share their enthusiasm for all things thirdgen. I did not know we had so many people here who love to race. Nobody mentioned to me that there were going to be races...Always down for that. My 305TPI must have scared y'all off.lol-anyways, had a great time and am always ready for a GTG. I live here in clovis and have a great pool and barbeque--86Z-28-Red /gold trim

I made it back just fine. That car started in the morning so I'm guessing a hot start problem. Time for a mini torque starter with extra heat shielding.
Thanks every one for the great time.
chosen1 - we may take you up on that.
Ryan - great planning and flexability
Aaron - thanks for the cooking and showing us out-of-towns what sup.
Bill, Mike and your whole family - thanks for the breakfast company. You folks are real fun.
Sac crew - good to hear you made it home OK. Road dogs!

For those of you who missed out, it was a full day of f-body fun. Complete with breakdowns (which were small and fixable), grub, twisties, monster trucks, local parking lot hayhem, and drag racing. I must say Fresno has a good cruise scene.

Damn, looks like you guys had way too much fun without me.
Oh well, glad to hear it was fun. The cars look awesome, and so do the pics of the gtg. I wish I could have been there. I am still pissed off I missed it. Sorry again guys. Not only did I have some personal things going on to keep me from coming, but my car would have kept me from coming also. The monday before the gtg my car was in the shop for both valve cover and oil pan gaskets, plus they screwed up on parts and it took for ever to get things right, I didn't even get the car back until yesterday. I had to take it to the dealer cause it was all warranty work for my new crate motor, so it was all free. So I picked up the car and as I am driving home my tranny starts to act up, feels like my tourqe converter is going out. So I took the car back to them today. My tranny was purchased from them about 2 weeks ago, so it's all warranty work also. Anyway, enough complaining from me. I hope to see you all soon at another gtg sometime this summer.

well on the way home my tranny started slipping, i couldnt move it anymore about 1/4 mile away from my house, in any gear, the engine would just rev.
anyways, its parked now till this friday when i can get the clutch replaced
but that explains why i was having trouble doing break stands now and couldnt chirp into second.

Travis - your lucky it brought you home. That's cool.
My Base to plenum is Accell Super Ram. You need big cam/motor to run a breather like that. It will make some 350's spin to 7 but stop making power at 6500. They may pull to 7 but your better off shifting sooner and getting longer power band run's. Any siamesed runner set up with full ported plenum and big mouth base will work good for up to 350hp and in some cases much more then that.
C2fast92z - I saw something like 60k miles on that thing. Are those org or 160k. Very nice ride!

it actually belonged to a guy that just had too many cars. so it just sat in his gararge and was driven every other weekend. he took real good care of his cars and as soon as i saw the 4 sale sign i jumped on it.
