I'm off this weekend and will be out. Denny's at Jensen/Hwy99 sounds good. If we meet a little earlier, and have enough ppl, we could make a couple runs up/down Blackstone en'force. In any case, I'll have a friend with me and will be out.

dude, steve, i dont know what u are talking about, is there a problem between u and me or something. cuz i have no idea. if its the pushrod thing i told 5 people at once about them, then will was first to respond. so i copied and pasted that to everyone. and ur argue ment with him, i guess i did kinda back him up and left u hanging, sorry man. but no one wants u to leave SSR.

sorry for thread jacking, back to the topic. id be down there if my car was working, but hopefully this weekend it will be. i may come down with nate, or steve (if we are still coo), or RJ.

I will let you guys know saturday sometime if I am coming for sure or not. You guys just pick a time and place and I will be there if I can come. Denny's sounds good. Time really doesn't matter. Ryan, we just exit Jensen off 99 and then turn right/left, what side of the freeway is it on, (east or west), and about how far off the freeway is it? Thanks Ryan.

Denny's is to the left off the off ramp headed south on 99. You will go under the freeway and you will turn left at the stoplight next to Carls Jr. Denny's is behind Carl's. Should be extremely easy to find. If all else fails...look for the Denny's sign. lol

Ryan

P.S. Almost forgot...weather channel shows a 50% chance of rain for all day Saturday as of right now...that could change by the weekend but at this point that is what we are looking at.

Thanks Ryan. Looks like the weather may not be all that great. I think I am going to wait until saturday to make my decision on wether to come down or not. Don't mind a little rain, just hate it when it's pouring and all windy. Anyway, I will post on saturday and let you guys know for sure. Oh, I think everyone should post on saturday and let us all know who is still going to come, don't want to drive all the way down there and find no one there. Thanks guys.

The forcast isn't looking bright. I'll be willing to come regardless, especially if we have guys coming from out of town. However, I'll post on here around 3pm on Saturday to let you guys know what the weather looks like if that helps.

Well guys, doesn't look like I am going to make it. My b-day party is going to run to late for me to make it down there tonight. I am still very tired from last night, about 6 or 7 of us local sac thirdgens had a gtg of our own. I told them all about the spring gtg in fresno, so maybe some will come. I am almost sure I got one guy to go, he has a 89 trans am gta with 53k original miles. He has a couple of small basic bolt ons already and his best track time so far is 14.3@93mph. Sweet a** car. Would love to see him and Ryan go for some runs. Anyway, I will try to make it down there another weekend coming up, see you all for the spring gtg for sure. Don't have too much fun without me.

Yeah it was actually a lot of fun. Good thing you took off when you did Sammy...cause about 30 minutes later a Fresno PD and a CHP showed up and blocked us all in....lol....no tickets, they just told us all to go home. Oh well...we had a lot of fun and no bad out come to speak of.

As for you STEVE....you suck...lol...I wish I had your # so we could have called you...PM it to me if you would please. You missed out on a really fun night. We had 6 thirdgens out tonight...all Camaros.

Thanks for all of the b-day wishes. Had a good time. Sounds like you guys had some good times, of course I knew that would happen on the night I could not make it. Oh well, glad to hear it was all good, maybe next time I can join. Hey Steve, the white i-roc in the pic you posted in your last post, is the owners name Will, I believe he is from San Francisco? I don't know the guy at all but have seen his post on here and south bay f-body association. His car looks sweet in some of the other pics I have seen too. Have heard it's damn fast. Seems like a cool guy. Anyway, you need to have him come along sometime to our gtg. Invite him to the spring gtg also. If I am talking about the right guy I know that he is a good friend of RJ's (video boy).

We had a total of six 3rd gen camaro's, two mustangs, and some other stragglers. Quiet and good fun...

Sammy, we were all done when the police arrived. We were just gonna watch Payton make a final solo pass in that supercharged ta of his. He was going down to the stop sign to turn around when we noticed two cars driving slowly side-by-side. Of course, Payton just kept going. As the police drove by the dead-end street where we were parked, they noticed all the cars. They stopped, backed-up, and faced in from the street, effectively blocking everyone in. So, we all just stood there looking at each other, when finally one of them said to forget about any street racing for the rest of the evening. They told us to leave immediately or stand-by for tickets for no license plates in front etc...

Anyways, that was about it. We all rolled out and went home. At least they had the courtesy not to show up til we were all finished!

lol! Sounds like a night to remember. Hope they don't start coming to that spot every weekend now to see if we are doing some runs. Oh well, no one got any tickets, that's all that really matters, would suck if they impounded someones car for racing.

Sorry to hear you guys are no longer cool with each other. He sounds like a know it all di*k head in a way though. I hate people like that. Anyway, that would be sweet if you bring some more thirdgens down next time. I will try to make it next time.

No know it all dickheed here... steve just needs someone to out-do. There are plenty of other 3rd gens out there that have no beef with me. Wonder why you are the only one Oh well. So yeah I have family down in Newman so maybe one day during the summer I can comemeet up with you all. My dislike of one person doesn't extend to anyone else on this board. You all are cool people and we all obviously have stuff in common. I'd like to make some aquaintances, I just don't revolve my life around driving to the next meet and what not. But I will def meet you all at some point this year.

As for my car, its pretty stock. But I have only had it at the track once and that was when I got it bonestock. This year should see some lower ET's. Lotta work instore for this year.

Steve,

I dig the ZR1 Grand Sport wheels and 11" in the back is a lot of rubber! I was thinking about going that way myself except that I wanted a wheel with more lip. Still, for the money, you can't go wrong with the AFS wheels since you're already near where they're mfg'd... No shipping!!

From everything I've read, though, you'll need to do something like rolling the lip of the rear fender well if you plan on stuffing 315's back there. Either way, I'd love to see them mounted!!

Funny, I wonder why no one else feels that way... seeing as I know more 3rd gen owners than you do. Don't forget who brought you here man. Its not like you stumbled on this on your own or something. And who was the first person you called to help you with something? You never complained when you needed something. Anyone can go throw down money and buy a car, its another thing to acrtually work on it, and see the results. Sucks you gotta have others do everything for you. Oh well, must be nice being in your shoes... Not having anything to do with your money other than buy more cars and parts and pay people for everything. Some of us have lives and friends outside of message boards, guess you wouldn't know about that though.

Steve, I like the black wheels better than the ones you have on there now. I think the black would really look good with the color red on your car. Mount them up so maybe next time I see you I can check them out. Traction shouldn't be a problem any more with those things in the rear and front.

I really don't want to get in the middle of this, but I don't see a problem at all with paying other people to do work on your car. I don't know sh*t about cars, so thank *** there is people out there who do know about cars to work on mine for me. I love my car and would appreciate it the same wether I did the work or someone else did it. Where do you think the money to pay someone else to work on it is coming from, it's coming from my hard work and time earning it from my job. Everyone has to start somewhere, recently I have replaced the heater core myself among other small things. Not everyone likes to do the work themselves, some people don't trust themselves, others don't have the time and so on. Not trying to start sh*t with anyone here, just giving my take on it.

Agree with you totally. I will be the first one to admit I don't know crap about cars, however I do like to talk about what I have heard from other people and things I have experienced myself, I don't see a problem with that though. Giving your opinion is different from acting like you really know cars.

Ey Will (83CFI) ... yah i was looking at the car today when i was at this sandwich joint and realized the bling isnt doing it no more ... this paint job is bright and i have black pieces on it so moste likely these black ZR1s will set it off right ...

see, there you go again playing ur role as "leader" ... telling me that u know more 3rd gen owners than i do ... you don't know that ... your assuming ... as u assumed i'm tryin to compete against you ... it aint competition, its about getting things on the car to make it look good or run faster ... ya brought me to SBFA ... thats all you did ... i asked you for help since i thought i could trust you to give me tips on these 3rd gens since i dont know a lot about em ... and as usual you give me shiet on things i ask you knowing that i dont know much about these cars ... and all your "boyz" act like their afraid of you .. those arent friends ... dood you dont even know me to talk shiet like that ... what you know is minimal about me ... dont try to tell me what i have and dont have ... what i do and dont do ... check yourself before you start blabbing off like that ... so wut if I dont do my own work ... i ask others that do cuz i aint about to mess up this one ... but i guess you have to becareful who you ask otherwise we'll run into people like you that gives you shiet for helping them out ... i've helped you out ... I've hooked it up .. and u've done the same ... i just dont see why you gotta start giving me shiet about what i do and dont ... like ur my fkn dad or sumshiet ... practice on being a real friend ... u treat others like shiet or make them feel sorry for you ... that aint the way to make friends ... alright this is way off topic ... we should start another post ... too much lately

Exactly what I was thinking Steve. That's why I always mention the color of your car. The black parts on your car look good with the color red, and the black wheels will only add to the look. Can't wait to see them on, post some pics if you can.

Ya, next time bring the F-41. Then I might actually have a chance at winning, lol! Live video or pics of that race would be sweet.

I never said theres anything wrong with paying someone else to do something, its when you act like you know **** and don't. Don't even get me started on all the stupid remarks you make dude. And who is "affraid" of me? You maybe. Thats flattering. And I ain't tryin to know you, but I unfortunately I do, and I tell it like it is. You have ZERO concept of what it is to own/operate/maintain a vehicle like this. Telling people your gonna throw in a cam, heads and headers on a stock car with over 120k miles on it... GOOD LUCK. Dangerous, it might be till it blows after 2k miles. Another half *** job. Why not fix one camaro instead of buying another one? But I ain't gonna waste my time on you anymore, just don't come to places I have been 3x's longer than you with a perfectly good rep, talking ****. Guess you might wanna think about changing your user name since your not in SSR anymore...
