TMoNeE, I wasnt even full throttle I would smoke you in a heart beat!!! Yeah you smoke me but I cant expect much out of a stock TBI. I am putting in a new 350HO soon once I do some other stuff to my car. I am aslo going to piece a TPI together. I got to get my car caged and put sub connectors before I do that though. My car is a never ending project but I am really happy with the look of it. If I remember right your hood was sticking up a little right. It was sort of faded red, you and me gunned it down marks and herdon right!

Hey Vexter I have all mornings off this week and have Friday totally off so if you want to do something just let me know! I dont understand what you mean about Friday night and the movies or do you mean mornings. Either way I am down!

If we make it 12pm tomorrow I can make if for sure. I have a meeting with my boss tomorrow at 10:30 and trying for 11 for me would be cutting it too close. Where are you thinking about meeting up at for lunch anyway? Somewhere in Riverpark or an alternate location? Let me know.

Hey Vexter I just got your voice message! i was working and left my cell phone in the car. I am free tommarrow so I will be happy to meet up with you guys for lunch. I am down for anyplace, we could go to In and Out in River Park or Johny Rockets, either way it doesnt matter! Either way I will call you in the morning to confirm it, I will be up early so I will call you no later than 10 am. If for some reason I dont call, just call my cell again. If I dont call that means my A!@ never got out of bed and you will have to give me a wake up call! It should not be a problem though but just in case!

Alright Everyone:

Sam, Ryan, and I got together today and hashed out some plans over a burger. We're going to meet at 8:00pm on Friday evening the 16th of May. The meeting place will be on top of the parking complex at Edwards Theater. Since it's at night, the top of the complex is well lit. We'll do a little cruising together and stop at a couple other hangouts. Then, somewhere around 11:00pm, those that are interested will gather at the primary race hangout basically just to represent our 3rd Gens. I, for one, am not planning to do any street racing. Anyway, that's the plan for the night.

If everyone is interested, perhaps we can do another one in a month or so during the day. We can run up to Millerton Lake, do a BBQ, or whatever...

In any case, I'm looking forward to meeting up with everyone on the 16th!

Well.........., one of the guys that was planning to go will not come because he sold his Iroc. He bought a 2001 Z28!!! I was disapointed in him but once he let me drive the car I was impressed. I still dont like the look of 4th gens but that car put me in the seat. He got more for it than I thought but I thought the guy was a die hard third gen! Oh well!

Earlier in this thread Dave....... said people were getting together in at Sonic in Turlock. When was that happening?

Guys, it sounds as though we are going to have a pretty low turnout for our meet on friday. It's really too bad. I was looking forward to seeing a dozen or more thirdgens hanging out. Perhaps more will show but at this point it doesn't look too terribly promising. I'll be there no matter what but there are tons of thirdgens in the area. I think for the next one we need to make up some kind of flyer and just print a bunch up, and every thirdgen we see in a parking lot gets one in the window. Just a thought though...

I actually printed out and lamenated some small cards with our info on it. I've only given one out so far though. I think the next meet should be on a Saturday or Sunday so that we can do it during the day.

It does look like it's gonna be a small group, but hey... it's a start. And, it's better than nothing.

There better be a descent turnout, I saw a younger guy on the road with a RS but the light turned green for him to make a turn and some old broad was honking her horn at him so I did get a chance. All I said to him was " hey we are having" and that was it! Oh well, after we meet up we could park our cars right next to own a car and we might be able to get some other third gens to see us and pull over?

What did we do? We hung out and cruised most of the time. If we had more people it would of been alot more fun but I still enjoyed talking about third gens! Vexter made laminated cards to put on the windows of third gens to get more people together so hopefully the next meet will be a better turnout.

i'm down for some meet action here guys and gals (if there be any). i say we do one once a month, and DO try to get more people involved. i've been to other meets with j-bodies, but haven't been to an f-body gathering yet. bought my first camaro back in december, and after the motor blew in jan, it's time to get on the road and cruise again with a posse. oh, i'll be stabbin a 350 in on thursday-sat. see how long it takes me.
