Need Help in WNY
Looking for some information from fellow WNY'ers. I am in need of new fuel hoses for my engine compartment. I have been fighting these things for just about 2 years now. This hose leaks at this fitting. Fix that, leaks at the other one. Fix that hose completely, the hose next to it, that has never leaked, leaks. Fix that hose, then the third one leaks about a foot away from either of the fittings.
6AN braided stainless steel fuel lines, all 90* fittings except 1 which is straight. 2 hoses about 5 feet long and another about one foot.
Anyone know of any place that is willing to either rebuild my hoses with new hoses, or completely make new ones, and pressure test them to 100 PSI (even though they will never see more than 50 PSI) in WNY? Desperate here. Car has been running intermittently since February and now not at all since April, and I need to get good fuel lines installed sometime this summer since I might need the car later in the year. The fuel lines are my only headache. Everything else I can deal with but I'm tired of fighting with these things. And we all know what leaking fuel can do in the engine compartment .

Re: Need Help in WNY
Almost forgot I posted this... I really should check email more often
Carl McQuillen Race Engines and Machining here in town does AN fuel hoses too. I called them a few weeks ago to find out. Now I just need the money. My only hangup to getting the 88 running again is those damn hoses .
