Dyno day results (vid)

The vid is: http://s50.photobucket.com/albums/f3...rrent=Dyno.flv

There was quite a few neons there, one had a home made non-intercooled turbo that I think made 220whp from the other stockish ones around 140whp. A couple 300z's made 300whp or so. 79 stang made a baseline run with a big b&m blower out the hood for something like 342whp/42xrwtq running pig rich. The guy that followed me out made 15xwhp/12xwtq from a stock 200x civic si. There was basically the same car with a supercharger that made like 210whp. One car was a joke, some POS 1990 civic that made 94whp/9xwtq. A newer 1 ton Ram made something like 450whp/750wtq and a ton of smoke, and someone said he was on 40psi that I never confermed. My buddy did a little test and tune at the end on his 198x RS to 326whp.

Re: Dyno day results (vid)

I'm running a d-1sc at 15psi spinning it almost full speed. Last year I was carbed high compression 10psi through a 700r4 trans and it dynoed 633rwhp/472rwtq. I wasn't a big fan of the carb though it worked, so this year it's SEFI using Big Stuff 3. It is actually about 2 tenths faster this year, but shows less on the dyno. I really want to see what this motor can do with a big turbo and more boost in a car that doesn't weigh 3700lbs, but that's for at least next season if not farther away.

Re: Dyno day results (vid)

Why would you want to go with a procharger over a bigger turbo? An f2 would be an upgrade, but why not something like a 9xmm turbo?
