Wow! Activity. I like it. I am definitely tired of looking at this snow. I'm away for the weekend, but if its still decent monday i may take mine out of the garage for a spin. Don't think it's moved since October.
Be glad you missed all of this crap Orr! Can't imagine your DD 4th gen going so well in it.lol

Probably wouldn't have gotten out of your driveway. I just about had the backhoe stuck. Had to use the bucket to drag it out. And it's 4 wheel drive.

I'd like to but probably won't be able to. Too much work this week. Not supposed to be driving it yet anyway. I have the Insurance suspened until may for the winter. Might put it back on early.

Wednesday is not a good day for me. If I criuise it's mostly on Saturdays. I need to get my car cleaned up before I take it out, however I did take it out last weekend only because I put on a new exhaust system on my car and wanted to see how it sounded. I do believe I have seen your car ounce before. About a year ago or so I seen a trans am that looked like yours down at bruesters icecream. Maybe it was you?

Re: PIttsburgh
July 23rd is Camaro night at wexford. Not exactly a thirdgen meet but i think it would be nice to have a good showing of thirdgens. Especially birds! They always leave us out. Bastards!!!!! We need to get the word out to all generations, outnumber the camaros on camaro night!
No offense to the camaro owners here, just the organizers of that night.

July 23rd huh.... I should be able to make that.
And I agree with hotrod, we need to do some meets this year. Anyone thinking of doing Irwin? I'm closer to town now, but I could still make it out that way.
Oh, and I had the bird out the other day. Only took it to the gas station and another 2 blocks, but still felt nice!

Hey guys. It looks as though I'll be at Keystone later on today. I've got some things I need to do to the GTA before I leave. Is anyone headed to Irwin after?
If you see a maroon 91 GTA and see me by it, stop and say hi.

I stopped by for a little bit. I didnt have my car though. I saw the maroon GTA, I wanted to talk to you about it, but some guy was there blabbing away about you not having a wonderbar on it or something.
There was alot of nice cars there though. A blue 85 TA for sale, A bright red GTA, the maroon one, a red RS camaro driven by some smoking hot chick, a blue formy, oh.. and a bright lime ****ing green with yellow ground effects and gigantic wing firebird that was FILTHY. I didnt want to bring my car being all in primer, but after seeing that, I dont feel as bad.

Re: PIttsburgh
I did some cruising this weekend too. Ttops were off, it was nice. I was suppose to go to jerrys yesterday but went to the texas roadhouse instead. My car almost overheated yesterday when I was on the highway. I've owned the car for almost four years and just found out that the past owner removed the airdam so I'm in the process of making a custom one. Maybe on the next nice Saturday we can cruise Jerrys....

How did I miss the hot chick in the Red Camaro? I'm pissed now.
I do have some pictures from the show that I'll post up later.
I also have pictures from PRP too that I'll post up.

but i do have some problems.. Past year my headlights get stuck up which is ok since they are on most of the time. then my fogligts stopped working.. changed the spark plugs and here and there it makes a loud popping sound when riding around or idle. also the gauge lights have gone out. I must have an electrical problem somewhere.

Re: PIttsburgh
Hey. That guy was the owner of the red GTA towards the end of the lot. He's apparently a member on here too. If you stop go again next week, let me know. Who cares that your car is only in primer. Primer is better than that dirty *** neon green and **** yellow, thing. That guy was there with 2 other guys and the 2 other guys just basically sat in their cars (one was a blue Cavy too ). I, personally wont be able to make the show because I've got to get cracking on these research papers, but my Mom and Dad will be taking it over. My dad loves car shows (we go to one almost every weekend in the summer and go to the GM or Chrysler Nationals at Carlisle every year) and is trying to get my mom involved so he can talk her into getting a classic.

And yeah, the red camaro. I was kinda staring, and then my gf jabbed me in the ribs haha, brought me back to reality.
i'm sure I'll be there again. the right side of my air dam came off also but its still been a good temp. rarely if ever excedes 200.

Re: PIttsburgh
Long time no see guys.. Haha Ive been busy with life. Ive talked to Orr recently, but nobody else from thirdgen unfortunately. The 86' is still not done, having a fuel issue that Im going to try and correct hopefully this summer and get it back on the road with the new motor. Car idles and revs fine, just isnt getting enough fuel driving. Going to try an electric fuel pump and regulator and go from there.
I parted my 85' out a few months ago, and made some good money off of it. Didnt have a title to it, and I have one thirdgen too many that gives me problems lol. I also got rid of it cuz I made a deal with the parents: Get rid of it and I can get another toy.
And for the good news I have added another vehicle to my stable because of this haha. I was looking for an LS1/6Spd with hopefully under 100k for around 10 grand or so. I ended up buying Laura's (Some may know her & some may not) Trans Am. Its an auto but is a 00' with 47k on it. And the setup is good for high 11s. Since I bought it Ive replaced the battery, oil change, new tires, inspected it, and had it dynoed/tuned. Its a mean little DD. Ill be trying to achieve the car's first 11 sec pass this week at PRP since its now tuned..
Hope to hear from some of you guys, and maybe see you up the track this Thursday.

Good to hear from you Stippy. Its been a while. I was wondering how the car was doing. We should all meet up someday. Another guy at work bought a thirdgen. That makes 3 at work. I'll add an ls1 car someday. Too many projects right now. As usual.
Deadman, the s10 looks good. Kind of how i would like to do mine. I would like to build a turbo motor for the bird and put the tpi in the s10 but, since i haven't won the lottery yet, it'll have to wait.lol Looking good though. Looks fun to drive.
