**** lol. Well Its always something I can switch too, didnt pay much for the piping and all. How is clearance with the 4"? Did you put a Cutout on yours? I plan/ned on putting an electric one on mine. And if I did that, you think a 4" is still a good idea?

Re: PIttsburgh
yep, my spohn crossmember and longtubes makes my clearance suck ***. the pipes under the frame are literally ovaled now from bottoming out
other than that, it clears pretty good. I have the muffler sitting right in front of the rear end about 2 ft behind where the stock cat sits. its LOW back there but i havent had any real problems with that, its the y pipe that hits
if you run a cutout at the track with 3inch it should help alot, but i'd like to run full power all the time so bigger is better. But try it to see what happens

Now I plan on buying UMI's Crossmember, Torque Arm, Subframe Connectors, Panhard Car, Lower Control Arms, & Wonder Bar. I hear UMI's Crossmember is much better than Spohn's when dealing with clearancing, have any of you heard the same? Mind you Ill be buying my Crossmember & Torque Arm for a TH400.

Summit Star wheels, 15x4 -19mm offset, 1.75 inch backspacing
Kuhmo PowerStar 758's, 165/80/15
have chrome acorn nuts for these too, included
This has worked great for me but with my C5 brakes, it wont clear the caliper so its time for some 17 inch front runners
Tires are basicallly new. Only driven probly 300 miles street driving, mainly to the track and back
Looking for 200 + shipping which will depend on location. I'm near Pittsburgh PA.

Re: PIttsburgh
I ordered my Subframe Connectors, Panhard Bar & Lower Control Arms, Wonder Bar, & TH400 Torque Arm & Crossmember today. After Tax (Their based in PA) & Shipping the total came out to about $850 for everything, not bad I dont think. I ordered everything in a Black Powder Coat finish.
I also picked up some stuff a few days ago I bought off my dads friend a while ago for $50. Engine Stand, Complete 283 SBC, & a 2 Speed Powerglide. Im looking to get rid of the 283 if you know anybody looking for one, its from a 64-66 Pickup but when it was taken out of a 69 Chevelle it was still running. Motor still turns over but has been sitting for about a year. It has the power steering pump, engine mounts, and even the alternator still. The 2 Speed will be saved for a day when I have a vehicle thats solely a drag car mainly because of gas mileage. 1st gear winding out to 70 mph just sounds sick to me lol.

Well the parts are definetely rolling in bit by bit lol. I just went out to Latrobe last night to pick up a 2 1/2 in cowl induction hood for $200. Its in decent shape, just a few knicks I can take care of. Its alot lighter than I thought it would be tho! Ill try an throw a pic up of it later.

Repair. He had 8 old Impalas sitting around the yard, and I believe a Cutlass shell inside the garage. His name was Chuck, same guy you delt with?
The exact same hood lol? Ive never actually seen this exact one before. Id like to know who made it tho, its light as all hell haha.
I sold the Complete 283 SBC today for $300. Not bad considering I got it, the engine stand, and the 2 Speed for $50. More $ to go towards my next purchace of Cam, Lifters, Heads, Intake, and Misc Head parts.

Re: PIttsburgh
Hey Justin I met someone you know last week at Sheetz in Belle Vernon. He had a white Camaro, 305 with bolt ons and a 150 shot. I started to mention you and your camaro and he was like yup I know exactly who you mean. So one of us (That being Justin lol) is becoming a little famous around the area haha. I think he said he was 19 and from Finleyville? Dont shoot me if Im wrong lol.

Re: PIttsburgh
belle vernon/finleyville.... not quite sure. hmm i did know a kid with white Z28 91 i believe but he was older and i think he got rid of that car for a typhoon. I also know a kid with a white Irocz i think it was that i met at Norwin car show who also went to the track the next week. I thought he had a L98 but it may be a 305. He didnt have the spray on it then. he was planning on a 355 build tho. Did he have any buddys with a 99-04 GT mustang?
I'm trying to think of any other white cars i may know of. thats funny he knows my car lol. I guess its getting famous sorta

Yes its the IrocZ, he said he met you at Norwin and PRP too. He told me he plans on keeping the 305 and running 11s. And yea he has a buddy with a white GT and one with a silver GT. Funny thing is a few days before we met the kid with the camaro me and a few of my buddies met the guys with GTs in Sheetz parking lot lol. Yeah, we hang out there alot. But anyway we raced the silver one several times with my buddy's 05 LS2 GTO. To say the least we ate him lol.
