01 SS COMPLETE 10 bolt rear for sale
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/engi...ml#post3170744
I have a complete 10 bolt rear for sale, has all the brakes, lines, cables, etc. It is out of a 01 SS that was made into a drag car. The rear has 20k miles on it, with new pads and rotors. It is a ABS rear with no TCS, 3.23. This axels are an inch and a half longer on each side than the 3rd gen rear. It will bolt right into a third gen with no modification. Sine the axles are longer on each side you can fit 4th gen rims on the back and not have to spend the extra $$$ for spacers. $300 firm takes it pick up, or drive a few to meet

ttt. These brakes on this rear work much much better then 3rd gen brakes. I have 341 HP at the wheels on my 02Z and I drive the car very hard and the rear in that car does not even howl. This rear would be perfect for a 3rd gen.
Like I said before only 20 thousand miles on this rear

This is probably a very basic question, but how would one clean that rust off the rotors before using them on a car?
I've been watching the thread for a while, as I want a spare rear for my '95 Formula...

Just drive it a couple miles and the brakes pads themselves would get the rust off... I will have them cut for you if you want the rear
